Punxsutawney’s Presloid Hits School-Record 9 3-pointers, Scores 36 in Win; Chuck Boys Also Win

BRADFORD, Pa. – Chloe Presloid hit a school-record nine 3-pointers on her way to a career-high 36 points, as visiting Punxsutawney rolled past Bradford, 67-24.

Presloid threw up 23 3-pointers on the night going 9 of 23 from long range and 11 of 33 from the field. She hit three triples each in the third and fourth quarters and scored 14 third-quarter pointers.

Presloid completed a double-double with 10 rebounds while adding seven steals.

Not to be outdone, Avary Powell was a perfect 10 of 10 from the floor and scored 20 points for the Lady Chucks while adding eight rebounds.

                                      

Kalie Dixon led Bradford with 12 points.

PORT ALLEGANY 45, AUSTIN 18

AUSTIN, Pa. – A big night from Evin Stauffer helped Port Allegany pick up a regular-season ending 45-18 NTL win at Austin.

Stauffer had 16 points, 14 steals, and seven rebounds.

Ella Moses added 15 points, nine rebounds, and nine steals for the Lady Gators with Leigha Nelson chipping in five points and eight steals and Brynn Evens three points and seven rebounds.

                          

Ella Brewer had eight points, five rebounds, and three steals for Austin.

DUBOIS 44, BROOKVILLE 18

DUBOIS, Pa. – Madison Rusnica scored 14 points to help DuBois a 44-18 win over visiting Brookville in D9 League action.

Rylee Werner and Kam Fontaine each scored seven points.

Eden Wonderling scored seven points for Brookville.

BOYS

PUNXSUTAWNEY 62, BRADFORD 40

PUNXSUTAWNEY, Pa. – Noah Weaver and Beau Thomas combined to score 34 points to lead Punxsutawney to a 62-40 win over visiting Bradford.

Weaver scored 20 points with Thomas adding 14 points.

Noah Kengersky added seven points for the Chucks.

                                   

Chase Wineberg scored 16 points for Bradford with Brendan Warner adding 10.

CAMERON COUNTY 77, OSWAYO VALLEY 53

SHINGLEHOUSE, Pa. – Maddox Baughman led four Cameron County players in double digits with a career-high 17 points, as the visiting Red Raiders toppled Oswayo Valley 77-53.

Josh Beer added 15 points in the win with Landon Farren scoring 14 and Brevin Lewis 10.

Cayden Black netted 17 points for Oswayo Valley and scored the 900th point of his career.
