Soft: Kulkbasky Tosses 5-inning Perfect Game for DCC; Williammee K’s 19 in NoPo Victory; Myers Goes Deep Again in Coudy Win powered by N. Washington Rodeo

DUBOIS, Pa. – Striking out 13 of the 15 batters she faced, Rylee Kulbatsky tossed a five-inning perfect game, as DuBois Central Catholic beat visiting Cranberry, 13-0.

Kulbatsky threw 54 of her 64 pitches for strikes.

Helping her own cause, Kulbatsky contributed one of DCC’s seven doubles while going 2-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored.

Melia Mitsakvich had two doubles while going 2-for-3 with an RBI and two runs scored, while Lexi Berta was 2-for-2 with a double, a walk, a run scored, and three RBIs.

                  

Kayley Risser also went 1-for-3 with a double, a run scored, and two RBIs, Kierra Foster was 1-for-2 with a double, a run scored, and two RBIs, and Lauren Davidson was 2-for-3 with a double, an RBI, and two runs scored.

Reyna Watson took the loss going three innings allowing 11 runs, 10 earned, on eight hits, three walks, and a hit batter. She struck out one.

NORTHERN POTTER 11, SMETHPORT 1

SMETHPORT, Pa. – Jaylyn Williammee struck out 19 and Lillian Steele went 3-for-5 with an RBI and three runs scored to help pace an 11-1 Northern Potter win at Smethport.

Williammee allowed one unearned run on a hit. Seventy-seven of her 92 pitches were strikes.

                          

Kayla Hyde added a pair of RBIs for the Lady Panthers while going 2-for-5 with a run scored, Emma Haynes was 2-for-4 with a run scored, Zoe White was 2-for-3 with a run scored, and an RBI, and Reagan Slawson was 1-for-3 with a walk and two runs scored.

Hope Peterson was 1-for-3 with an RBI for Smethport

Taylar Colley took the loss going seven innings allowing 11 runs, four earned, on 14 hits and fou walks. She struck out 10.

COUDERSPORT 22, CAMERON COUNTY 9, 6 INNINGS

EMPORIUM, Pa. – Sierra Myers hit a home run for the second straight day and Laura Dunn and Hannah Fleniken each drove in four runs to lead Coudersport to a 22-9, six-inning win at Cameron County.

               

Myers was 4-for-6 with three runs scored and three RBIs.

Dunn went 3-for-6 with a double and three runs scored, and Fleniken was 5-for-5 with a double and four runs scored.

Lily Clinger also went 2-for-5 with a double, a run scored, and three RBIs for the Lady Falcons while Madsyn Dubots-Angood was 2-for-2 with a double, four walks, an RBI, and three runs scored.

Also for Coudy, Ciarra Davis went 2-for-3 with a double, two walks, three runs scored, and three RBIs, and Claire Daisley was 2-for-4 with a double, a walk, a run scored, and two RBIs.

Fleniken got the win going six innings allowing nine earned runs on six hits, 12 walks, and seven hit batters. She struck out two.

Hailey McAlulary had a single and two runs scored for Cameron County while Elyse Umble had a pair of RBIs. Sabina Hoffower also had two hits and two runs scored, and Laila Artman scored twice.

Caitlin Palumbo took the loss going six innings allowing 22 earned runs on 23 hits and eight walks while striking out five.

CLEARFIELD 12, BISHOP CARROL 1, 5 INNINGS

            

EBENSBURG, Pa. – Megan Wisor tossed a three-hitter and Eve Siegel drove in three runs to lift Clearfield to a 12-1, five-inning win at Bishop Carroll.

Wisor gave up one earned run. She struck out 11.

Siegel was 3-for-4 with a run scored.

Alexus Green and Anna Twigg each added a pair of RBIs for the Lady Bison with Green going 1-for-4 with a run scored and Twigg going 1-for-3 with a double.

Aevril Hayward was also 2-for-2 with two walks, an RBI, and four runs scored in the win, and Ruby Singleton went 2-for-3 with a walk, an RBI, and two runs scored.

Adelyn Myers had a home run for Bishop Carroll’s lone run.

Hannah Strittmatter took the loss going ⅓ of an inning allowing five runs on one hit and four walks.

PUNXSUTAWNEY 16, KEYSTONE 0, 4 INNINGS

KNOX, Pa. – Three Punxsutawney pitchers combined on a four-inning perfect game, and Ciarra Toven hit a pair of home runs while driving in six runs in Punxsutawney’s 16-0, four-inning win at Keystone.

Brinley Hallman started and went an inning striking out three, Oliva Toven followed and got the win going a scoreless inning striking out two, and Brynn Hergett went two innings striking out four.

Toven was 2-for-3 with a walk and three runs scored, while Laci Poole added a pair of doubles going 2-for-2 with a run scored and two RBIs.

Avary Powell scored three times going 1-for-2 with a walk, and Hergert also scored three times going 1-for-3 with a walk.

Bella Brandon took the loss going one inning allowing 11 runs, just one earned, on four hits and four walks.

OTTO-ELDRED 16, GALETON 1, 4 INNINGS

GALETON, Pa. – Scoring 16 runs on just six hits, Otto-Eldred cruised to a 16-1, four-inning win at Galeton.

The Lady Terrors took advantage of 10 walks, four hit batters, and six Galeton errors.

Ayla VanScoter and Lexi Prince each had a pair of RBIs for O-E with VanScoter going 1-for-3 with two runs scored and Prince going 1-for-2 with a run scored.

Kyla Andreano was also 2-for-4 with a double, an RBI, and two runs scored.

Rayel Hakes got the win going four innings allowing one earned run on two hits and a walk while striking out 10.

ELK COUNTY CATHOLIC 11, BROOKVILLE 2

ST. MARYS, Pa. – Bailey Thorwart went 4-for-4 with a triple, three runs scored, and three RBIs in an 11-2 Elk County Catholic win over Brookville at Benzinger Park in St. Marys.

Sydney Alexander and Emily Mourer each added a pair of RBIs for the Lady Crusaders with Alexander going 3-for-4 with three runs scored and Mourer going 3-for-4 with a double and a triple.

Also for ECC, Lucy Klawuhn was 2-for-3 with a triple, a walk, and three runs scored.

Mourer got the win going seven innings allowing two runs, one earned, on three hits and two walks while striking out 10.

Alyssa Tollino was 1-for-3 with an RBI for Brookville but took the loss going six innings allowing 11 runs, 10 earned, on 14 hits and a walk. She struck out one.

YOUNGSVILLE 20, OSWAYO VALLEY 10, 6 innings

SHINGLEHOUSE, Pa. – A Molly Helman 3-run double helped spark a 7-run third inning in Youngsville’s 20-10 win over Oswayo Valley.

Hailey Gray, Helman and Kamden Swearingen all had singles in a 5-run fifth inning, with Ireland Abraham drawing a bases-loaded walk, Venessa Romanosky hit a 2-run single and Marissa VanGuilder a 2-run double.

Romanosky added a 2-run double in the sixth inning and Helman had an RBI double as well.

Swearingen got the win and also scored four runs. Gray and Helman both had four hits and scored four runs each.
