Soft: Green Walk-off Single Caps Four-Run 7th Inning Rally for Clearfield; Burrows pitches KC past RV; Siple Big in Curwensville Win powered by N. Washington Rodeo

Alexus Green had a walk-off single for Clearfield as the Lady Bison scored four times in the seventh to stun Central-Martinsburg

HYDE, Pa. – Alexus Green’s single to left with two outs in the seventh lifted Clearfield to a 7-6 walk-off win over Central-Martinsburg.

Green’s hit scored Sam Campolong from third. Campolong’s RBI triple a batter earlier had tied the game, as the Lady Bison scored four times in the seventh to rally for the victory.

Haley Billotte started the rally with a lead-off double.

An intentional walk to Ruby Singleton was followed by back-to-back groundouts that scored Billottee to make it 6-4.

                  

An error then made it 6-5 before Campolong’s triple tied the game and Green’s single won it.

Singleton had a monster game for the Lady Bison going 3-for-3 with a home run, a double, a walk, two RBIs, and three runs scored.

Aevril Hayward drove in a pair of runs in the win as well going 1-for-4 while Campolong was 2-for-4 with a run scored and an RBI. Green also went 1-for-2 with a walk, a run scored, and an RBI.

Megan Wisor got the win allowing six runs, three earned, on 10 hits and two walks while striking out four.

Bralyn Ellis hit a home run for Central-Martinsburg going 2-for-4 with a run scored and an RBI.

                          

Madison Kennedy took the loss going 6 ⅔ innings allowing seven runs, four earned, on 11 hits and two walks while striking out eight.

KARNS CITY 4, REDBANK VALLEY 1

KARNS CITY, Pa. – Addison Burrows scattered nine hits but only one run as Karns City beat visiting Redbank Valley, 4-1.

The run was unearned as Burrows struck out five and didn’t walk anyone.

Nicole Huff was 2-for-3 with a double and two runs scored for the Lady Gremlins while Jada Polczynski was 2-for-2 with a walk and a run scored.

               

Mackenzie Foringer was 2-for-4 with a double, a triple, and an RIBI for Redbank Valley while Sammi Bowser and Izzy Bond each added a pair of hits.

Foringer took the loss going six innings allowing four runs, two earned, on seven hits and a walk while striking out three.

FOREST AREA 8, A-C VALLEY/UNION 3:

TIONESTA, Pa. – A five-run fifth inning broke a 3-all tie as Forest Area beat visiting A-C Valley/Union, 8-3, at West Forest.

Alexa Carll’s two-run single broke the tie.

Carll was 2-for-4 with a run scored and two RBIs, while Akeela Greenawalt went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI.

Izzy Flick added a 2-for-5 day with a run scored and two RBIs, and Faith Dietrich was 3-for-3 with a walk and a run scored. Alexis Oswald chipped in going 2-for-4 with a run scored and Jayden Colvin was 2-for-2 with two walks and two runs scored.

Flick got the win going seven innings allowing three runs, two earned, on six hits and a walk while striking out nine.

Liv Hartzell was 2-for-4 with a run scored for A-C Valley/Union.

            

Magen Walzak took the loss going six innings allowing eight earned runs on 16 hits, three walks, and a hit batter while striking out two.

CURWENSVILLE 7, WILLIAMSBURG 2

WILLIAMSBURG, Pa. – Addison Warren and Addison Siple each had three hits to lead Curwensville to a 7-2 win over Williamsburg.

Siple was 3-for-4 with two runs scored and two RBIs, while Warren was 3-for-4 with a double, a triple, and three runs scored.

Natalie Wischuck was also 2-for-4 with a run scored, and Ava Olosku drove in two runs.

Siple got the win going seven innings allowing two earned on six hits and a hit batter. She struck out nine.

BRADFORD 8, COUDERSPORT 2

BRADFORD, Pa. – Daisy Greene produced with her arm and her bat to lead Bradford to an 8-2 win over visiting Coudersport.

Greene was 2-for-4 with three RBIs while also going seven innings in the circle allowing two earned runs on six his and a walk while striking out five.

Sophie Cornelius added a pair of RBIs for the Lady Owls while going 2-for-3 with two runs scored

Hannah Fleniken was 2-for-3 with a triple and a run scored for Coudersport with Laura Dunn going 2-for-4 with an RBI.

Savannah Myers was also 2-for-4 for the Lady Falcons as was Lily Clinger, and Madyson Dubots-Angood was 1-for-3 with a walk and a run scored. Alissa Dunn had the other RBI.

Fleniken took the loss going six innings allowing eight earned runs on 11 hits, a walk, and five hit batters. She struck out three.

MONITEAU 19, KEYSTONE 2, 4 INNINGS

KNOX, Pa. – Lily Staab hit a pair of home runs to lead visiting Moniteau to a 19-2, four-inning win at Keystone.

Staab was 2-for-5 with two runs scored and four RBIs.

Ashley Huffman added three RBIs for the Lady Warriors going 1-for-3 with a walk and two runs scored, while Addy Williams drove home two runs and scored a run, and Lexi McGhee was 1-for-1 with three walks, two RBIs, and three runs scored.

HXalle Beatty also scored three times after going 1-for-1 with three walks, and Alyssa Thompson was 1-for-5 with an RBI and three runs scored.

Mariska Shunk got the win going three scoreless innings allowing a hit and a walk while striking out five.

Emma Gruber was 2-for-2 with a home run, a run scored, and an RBI for Keystone.

Bella Brandon took the loss going 2 ⅓ innings allowing 12 runs, 10 earned, on seven hits and six walks while striking out one.
