Slippery Rock Rallies Past Franklin; Lakeview, Youngsville, Wilmington Nab Wins Powered by N. Washington Rodeo

FRANKLIN, Pa. – Trailing 3-1 going to the sixth inning, Slippery Rock scored four times in the sixth and added two more in the seventh in a 7-3 win over Franklin.

Isaac McCandless drove in a pair of runs for the Rockets, while Austan Runtas drilled a 2-run home run in the seventh.

Dominick Zandi also drove in a run for Slippery Rock, while Ryan Double had two hits.

Sal Mineo got the win in relief, tossing a scoreless inning with two strikeouts.

Zach Boland drove in a pair of runs for Franklin.

   

                  

Evan Turner suffered the loss, allowing six runs in his two innings of work.

LAKEVIEW 10, GREENVILLE 8

STONEBORO, Pa. – Lakeview broke an 8-8 tie with two runs in the fifth inning on an Owen Dye home run in a 10-8 win over Greenville.

Garrett Harbaugh had a huge game in the win for Lakeview, belting two home runs and collecting four RBIs.

Lucas Fagley was also 2-for-4 with an RBI.

                          

Maddox Bell fired four perfect innings for Lakeview, striking out seven.

Jacob Csonka drove in a pair of runs for Greenville.

Carter Reichard took the loss, allowing five runs in four innings on seven hits, striking out five and walking one.

YOUNGSVILLE 13, IROQUOIS 9

               

ERIE, Pa. – A seven-run fifth inning helped lift Youngsville to a 13-9 win over Iroquois.

Youngsville had 13 hits, led by Nathan Lucks who was 3-for-4 with four RBIs and Matt DeSimone, who was 3-for-4 with three RBIs.

Ethan Beers also had an RBI and scored two runs for the Eagles.

Wyatt Dalrymple got the win in relief, going three innings and allowing three runs on two hits, striking out three and walking two.

Hunter Alderson was 3-for-4 for Iroquois with four RBIs.

Alderson took the loss, allowing seven runs (six earned) on seven hits in 4 ⅓ innings, striking out seven and walking three.

WILMINGTON 10, GROVE CITY 5

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – Hunter Jones and Rocky Serafino drove in three runs each as Wilmington powered past Grove City, 10-5.

Wilmington scored three runs each in both the first and fourth innings en route to the win.

Chase Mitcheltree was 4-for-4 with a double and three runs for the Greyhounds as well.

            

Owen Bauer got the win, going six innings and allowing five runs (three earned) on six hits, striking out five and walking three.

Ben Fischer was 2-for-4 with two runs for Grove City, while Kam Martin was 1-for-4 with an RBI.

Ethan Orr took the loss, allowing four runs (two earned) in his 1 ⅔ innings of work.

NORTHWESTERN 13, JAMESTOWN 2

JAMESTOWN, Pa. – A 10-run fourth inning lifted Northwestern to a 13-2 win over Jamestown.

Northwestern sent 15 men to the plate in the fourth.

Jacob Mitchell had three RBIs for Northwestern, while Kaden Stout and Nick Timm had two RBIs each. Timm finished with three hits.

Garrett Eddy got the win, allowing two runs (one earned) on five hits, striking out 12 and walking two.

Aidan Woyt had two hits for Jamestown.

MEADVILLE 10, NORTH EAST 2

NORTH EAST, Pa. – Four different players had two RBIs each as Meadville beat North East, 10-2.

Ryan Reichel, Brighton Anderson, Henry Desantis-Biggs and AJ Feleppa had two RBIs each for the Bulldogs.

The game was scoreless until the fourth, when Meadville broke across for a run. They scored three more in the fifth and five in the seventh.

Rhoan Woodrow tossed three hitless innings to get the win, striking out four and walking three.

Troy Gallbreath had two RBIs for North East.

Drew Aspden went four innings for North East, allowing one run on three hits, striking out seven and walking one.

SHARON 13, REYNOLDS 2, 6 innings

TRANSFER, Pa. – Will Beckert was 3-for-5 with a home run and five RBIs as Sharon beat Reynolds, 13-2 in six innings.

Mark Cattron doubled and drove in a pair of runs for Sharon, while Hayden Scarmak was 2-for-4 with an RBI and three runs and Owen Schenker also had three hits.

Sharon scored in every inning but the fourth.

Cattron, Ethan Engelmore and Chandler Maurice tossed two innings each for Sharon.

SAEGERTOWN 13, ROCKY GROVE 3, 5 innings

SAEGERTOWN, Pa. – Saegertown scored 10 runs in the first two innings on its way to a 13-3, 5-inning win over Rocky Grove.

Blake Burchill was 3-for-3 with a triple, three two RBIs and two runs, while Wyatt Burchill was 2-for-4 with two runs.

Gabriel Jordan and Levi Gardner also drove in a pair of runs for Saegertown.

Wyatt Burchill tossed three scoreless innings for Saegertown, striking out four and allowing just one hit and one walk.

Schiffer Anderson was 2-for-3 with an RBI for Rocky Grove.

Eli Wilson suffered the loss, allowing six runs in one inning of work.

CATHEDRAL PREP 12, CORRY 0, 5 innings

CORRY, Pa. – Davin Friedman drove in three runs as Cathedral Prep blanked Corry, 12-0 in five innings.

Jason Fultz Jr. tossed three scoreless innings to get the win, allowing one hit and striking out six.

Fultz was also 2-for-2 with an RBI, while Joey Spano Jr. also drove in a pair of runs.
