HARBOR CREEK 12, FORT LEBOEUF 2, 6 innings 

WATERFORD, Pa. – Aidan Kelly went 2-for-2 with a home run and three RBIs as Harbor Creek stayed perfect with a 12-2, 6-inning win over Fort LeBoeuf. 

Four Harbor Creek pitchers – Cody Smith, Casey Smith, Austin Vaughn and Cam Miller combined on a 1-hitter. Vaughn struck out five in his two innings of work, as Harbor Creek pitchers combined to strike out 12. 

   

                  

The Huskies scored eight runs in the fourth inning, with Cody Smith, Kelly, Miller, Vaughn, Cam Williamson and Casey Smith all driving in runs in the frame. 

Mike Pepicello also drove in a pair for the Huskies. 

Jamie Miller took the loss for Fort LeBoeuf, allowing four runs and four hits in 2 ⅔ innings. 

EISENHOWER 5, IROQUOIS 2

LAWRENCE PARK, Pa. – Eisenhower broke open a 2-2 tie with two runs in the fifth in a 5-2 win over Iroquois. 

                          

Jared Beers’ RBI single gave the Knights a 3-2 lead in the fifth, and Zach Rohlin had an RBI groundout. 

Rohlin gave the Knights an insurance run in the top of the seventh on a sacrifice fly. 

Teagan Gray got the complete game victory, allowing two runs on six hits and striking out nine. He needed just 80 pitches to get through seven innings, 57 of which went for strikes. 

Camron Jakubczak and Dillon Benson also had RBIs for the Knights. 

               

Reilly Brown was the tough-luck loser, tossing a complete game himself, giving up just one earned run and striking out five while allowing six hits. He didn’t issue a walk. Gavin Lewis went 1-for-3 with two RBIs for the Braves. 

MERCYHURST PREP 10, MCDOWELL 4

ERIE, Pa. – Mercyhurst Prep scored six runs in the fourth inning on its way to a 10-4 win over McDowell. 

Hayden Zaffino (walk), Mike Nelligan (hit by pitch), Connor Fitzgerald (2-run single) and Nathan Lazan (single) all drove in runs in the inning. 

They followed up the 6-run fourth with three more runs in the fifth. 

Nellgian drove in three runs, and Fitzgerald and Zaffino two each. 

Fitzgerald got the win, allowing three runs (two earned) in five innings on six hits, striking out one without issuing a walk. Zaffino tossed two inning in relief, allowing one run. 

Gavin Snyder took the loss for McDowell, allowing six runs in 3 ⅔ innings. 

Sam Crowley had an RBI double for McDowell, and Matt Demski also drove in a run for the Trojans. 

SHARON 11, OIL CITY 1, 5 innings

            

SHARON, Pa. – Mikey Rodriques had a monster day at the plate to lead Sharon to an 11-1 win over Oil City. 

Rodriques went 4-for-4 with a double, four RBIs, and three runs for the Tigers, who scored six runs in the fourth inning to break the game open. 

Jason Stanek was 1-for-3 with two RBIs and three runs, while Damon Currie was 1-for-3 with two RBIs. 

Rodriques also tossed three perfect innings on the mound with a strikeout. Sully Brown pitched the final two innings for the Tigers.

Dakota Cole took the loss for Oil City.
