Soft: White Has Nice Game in Redbank Valley Win; Coe Leads Cranberry to Victory; Smethport, Codu Split powered by N. Washington Rodeo

NEW BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Quinn White went 2-for-3 with a walk, a run scored, and three RBIs to lead Redbank Valley to an 8-6 win over visiting Forest Area.

Braylee Yeaney was also 2-for-4 with an RBI and two runs scored for the Lady Bulldogs while Izzy Bond went 2-for-2 with a triple and two runs scored.

Makenzie Foringer got the win going seven innings allowing six runs, four earned, on 16 hits. She struck out four.

Alexis Oswalad was 3-for-4 with a home run, a double, two runs scored, and three RBIs for Forest Area while Anna Stitt was 3-for-4 with a run scored and an RBI.

                  

Brooke Felleit was also 3-for-4 with a double, a run scored, and an RBI for the Fires.

Izzy Flick took the loss going six innings allowing eight runs, six earned, on eight hits, three hit batters, and two walks. She struck out five.

CRANBERRY 6, MONITEAU 2

WEST SUNBURY, Pa. – Rylee Coe went 4-for-4 with a home run, a run scored, and three RBIs to lead Cranberry to a 6-2 win at Moniteau.

Jadyn Shumaker went 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles, two RBIs, and a run scored for the Berries with Avery Coe going 2-for-4 with a run scored.

                          

Rylee Coe got the win going five innings allowing three hits and two walks while striking out three.

Mariska Shunk went 2-for-4 with a home run, a double, a run scored, and two RBIs for Moniteau while Ashley Huffman was 2-for-3 with a run scored.

Shunk took the loss going four innings allowing six runs, two earned, on eight hits. She struck out three.

A-C VALLEY/UNION 15, CENTRAL CLARION 9

STRATTANVILLE, Pa. – Kya Wetzel drove in three runs to help A-C Valley/Union to a 15-9 win over Central Clarion at Clarion-Limestone.

               

Wetzel went 1-for-4 with a triple and a run scored.

Alivya Hartzell added a 1-for-5 day with a double, two runs scored, and two RBIs for the Falcon Knights while Bella Ielase was 3-for-4 with a triple, a walk, and four runs scored.

Ashlyn Blystone was also 3-for-5 with a double, a triple, two RBIs, and five runs scored with Emerson Stevens going 4-for-5 with a double and Maddy Dehart going 3-for-5 with two RBIs.

Stevens got the win going seven innings allowing nine runs, four earned, on nine hits, eight walks, and five hit batters. She struck out seven.

Alyssa Wiant went 1-for-3 with a double, two walks, a run scored, and three RBIs for Central Clarion with Abby Knapp-Greeley going 2-for-2 with a run scored and two RBIs.

Jenna Dunn took the loss going three innings allowing 11 runs, five earned, on 12 hits and a hit batter.

SMETHPORT, COUDERSPORT SPLIT DOUBLEHEADER

SMETHPORT, Pa. – Smethport and Coudersport split a doubleheader with Smethport taking Game One 22-7 in four innings and Coudersport winning Game Two 24-17 in five innings in a game called because of darkness.

In Game One, the Lady Hubbers were led by Ava Gifford who was 2-for-5 with a home run, a walk, three runs scored, and four RBIs.

            

Janell Dinch and Hope Peterson each added four RBIs as well with Dinch going 1-for-1 with a triple, two walks, and three runs scored and Peterson going 3-for-3 with a double, a walk, and three runs scored.

Elena McKeirnan added a pair of doubles for Smethport going 2-for-2 with two walks, two RBIs, and three runs scored with Tylar Colleye going 3-for-3 with a double, a walk, and three RBIs, and Elizabeth Hungiville going 1-for-1 with a double, three walks, and three runs scored.

Colley got the win going four innings allowing seven earned runs on 11 hits and three walks while striking out two.

Sierra Myers had a big day at the plate for Coudersport hitting a grand slam home run while going 3-for-3 with two doubles, three runs scored, and four RBIs.

Hannah Fleniken took the loss going 3 ⅔ innings allowing 22 earned runs on 13 hits, 14 walks, and four hit batters. She struck out four.

In the nightcap, Coudersport gave up nine runs in the top of the first but led 18-9 after the second thanks to a 13-run second inning.

Lily Clinger drove in five runs for the Lady Falcons going 3-for-5 with a pair of doubles and two runs scored.

Fleniken and Alissa Dunn each added four RBIs with both players going 3-for-5 with two runs scored.

Claire Daisley was 4-for-4 with a walk, two runs scored, and an RBI for Coudersport, Marah Fowler was 3-for-5 with three RBIs and four runs scored, and Ciarra Davis was 1-for-4 with a walk, two RBIs, and three runs scored.

Hungiville went 3-for-3 with a double, a triple, a walk, three runs scored, and three RBIs for Smethport while Dinch was 2-for-2 with a pair of doubles, a walk, three runs scored, and three RBIs.

Also for the Lady Hubber, Peterson went 1-for-2 with a walk, two runs scored, and two RBIs, and McKeirnan was 1-for-2 with a double, a run scored, and two RBIs.

Fleniken got the win going five innings allowing 17 runs, 12 earned, on eight hits, eight walks, and four hit batters. She struck out eight.

OTTO-ELDRED 8, OSWAYO VALLEY 3

DUKE CENTER, Pa. – Behind another strong day at the plate from Kyla Andreano, Otto-Eldred topped visiting Oswayo Valley, 8-3.

Andreano was 3-for-4 with a double, a run scored, and two RBIs.

Rayel Hakes and Lexi Prince also each drove in a pair of runs for the Lady Terrors with Hakes going 1-for-3 with a walk and Prince walking once and scoring once.

Jessi Hall and Carrie Drummond each scored twice in the win with Hall going 1-for-3 with a walk and Drummond walking once.

Kate Rhinehart got the win going seven innings allowing three runs, one earned, on six hits and a walk while striking out 12.

Brooke George and Catelyn Dailey were both 2-for-3 with a run scored for Oswayo Valley with one of Dailey’s hits being a double. George added an RBI.

Makenna Manning was also 1-for-4 with a double, a run scored, and an RBI for the Green Wave, while Eva West went 1-for-3 with a double and an RBI.

Shayden Mesler took the loss going five innings allowing five earned runs on seven hits, four walks, and three hit batters. She struck out seven.

KARNS CITY 12, KEYSTONE 4

KARNS CITY, Pa. – A seven-run second inning helped Karns City to a 12-4 win over visiting Keystone.

The Lady Gremlins trailed 3-1 going to the bottom of the second before Addison Burrows had a two-run single in the inning to give them the lead, 4-3. Aubrey Taylor followed with a two-run double, and Nicole Taylor added a two-run single to make it 8-3.

Burrows was 1-for-5 with a run scored and three RBIs. Aubrey Taylor was 1-for-5 with a run scored and two RBIs, and Nicole Taylor was 2-for-4 with two RBIs.

Lyrik Reed also went 3-for-5 with a triple and two runs scored for the Lady Gremlins, and Jada Polczynski was 1-for-4 with a double, a walk, two runs scored, and two RBIs.

Reed, the third Karns City pitcher, got the win going four innings allowing an earned run on three hits and two walks while striking out seven.

Burrows pitched a scoreless inning allowing a hit while striking out one.

Ronni Radaker went two innings giving up three earned runs on three hits, a hit batter, and two walks.

Bella Brandon was 2-for-3 with a walk and a run scored for Keystone while Bella Black went 1-for-4 with a double and an RBI. Alannah Fulton also doubled while going 1-for-3 with a run scored and an RBI.

Brandon took the loss going six innings allowing 12 runs, nine earned, on nine hits, seven walks, and two hit batters. She struck out three.

BRADFORD 13, PORT ALLEGANY 0, 5 INNINGS

BRADFORD, Pa. – Daisy Greene tossed a two-hit shutout and collected four hits to lead Bradford past visiting Port Allegany, 13-0, in five innings.

Greene struck out six while going 4-for-4 with a double, two runs scored, and three RBIs.

Bella Zandy and Alyssa Johnson each added a pair of RBIs for the Lady Owls while Kendyl Cruz scored three times and Sophie Cornelius and Adilynn Brown each scored twice.

Zandy was 1-for-2 with two walks, Johnson was 1-for-3 with a double, a walk, and a run scored, Cruz was 1-for-2 with a walk and an RBI, Cornelius walked once, and Brown was 1-for-3 with a walk and an RBI.

Alayna McKervey was 1-for-2 with a double for Port Allegany.

Alyssa Tanner took the loss going four innings allowing 13 earned runs on nine hits, 10 walks, and five hit batters. She struck out five.

BROCKWAY 19, CAMERON COUNTY 1, 3 INNINGS

BROCKWAY, Pa. – Eliza Powell and Meeca Smith each had three RBIs to help Brockway roll past visiting Cameron County, 19-1, in three innings.

Powell was 3-for-3 with a double and three runs scored with Smith going 2-for-3 with a triple and two runs scored.

Isabella Patton also tripled while going 1-for-2 with a walk, an RBI, and three runs scored, while Sophia Schmader was 1-for-2 with a double, an RBI, and two runs scored.

Sierra Fremer added a 1-for-2 day for the Lady Rovers. She scored once and drove in two. Rheanna Spinda was 2-for-3 with three runs scored, and Josie Orinko was 1-for-3 with an RBI and two runs scored.

Bailee Cranberry got the win going three innings allowing one earned run on two hits and three walks while striking out four.

Elyse Umble had a single and an RBI for Cameron County with Maggie Abriatis scoring the run.

MOUNT UNION 11, CURWENSVILLE 5

MOUNT UNION, Pa. – When Addison Siple left the circle, Mount Union’s bats awoke with the Trojans scoring eight runs in their final two at-bats on their way to an 11-5 win over visiting Curwensville.

Siple pitched four innings allowing three unearned runs on one hit, two walks, and a hit batter before coming out of the game with her team down 3-1.

Mount Union greeted Caitlyn Irwin with three runs in the fifth to make it 6-1 before Curwensville got four runs in the sixth to close within one, 6-5.

But any thought of a Lady Tide comeback went away when the Trojans scored five times in the bottom of the sixth.

Irwin allowed eight runs, four earned, on seven hits and two walks while striking out one in two innings in the circle.

Patyn Crisswell led Mount Union going 3-for-3 with a double, a walk, a run scored, and five RBIs while Callie Trego was 1-for-4 with a run scored and two RBIs.

Payton Williams got the win going seven innings allowing five runs, three earned, on eight hits and three walks while striking out five.

Addison Butler was 3-for-4 with a double, a run scored, and an RBI for Cuwensville with Siple going 2-for-3 with a run scored.

Ava Olosky also hit a home run for the Lady Tide and was 1-for-4 with a run scored and three RBIs.
