Soft: Titusville Powers Past OC; GM Outlasts CASH; Sharon Edges Jamestown Powered by N. Washington Rodeo

OIL CITY, Pa. – Kasey Krepps finished a single shy of the cycle, driving in six runs as Titusville beat Oil City, 16-2 in six innings.

Titusville scored six runs each in both the third and sixth innings.

Rylie McGarvey was also 2-for-4 with two RBIs for Titusville, while Kyra Atkins was 2-for-4 with an RBI and Mahaila Campbell 1-for2 with an RBI and two runs.

Sky Bierce got the win, allowing two hits and one earned run in six innings, striking out seven and walking five.

Nyssa Hanlon was 1-for-3 with an RBI for Oil City.

                  

GENERAL MCLANE 18, CONNEAUT 17

LINESVILLE, Pa. – Makaya Rapela doubled, homered and drove in six runs as General McLane outlasted Conneaut, 18-17.

A 9-run third inning helped lead GM to the win. Sydney Clark was 2-for-5 with three RBIs, while Riley Lorah was 5-for-6 with two RBIs, Bella Dibble 1-for-5 with two RBIs and Gwenna Gast 2-for-5 with two RBIs.

Korryn Kinder got the win, allowing nine earned runs in 6 ⅓ innings on nine hits, striking out four.

Jaidyn Jordan had a big game for CASH, hitting two home runs, finishing with four hits and driving in six.

                          

Also for the Eagles, Jillian Mihoci and Hailey Gilliland had two RBIs each.

SHARON 2, JAMESTOWN 0

SHARON, Pa. – RBI singles from Claire Bodien and Mya Bundrant in the first inning proved to be all Sharon needed in a 2-0 win over Jamestown.

Maddy Vogan fired a gem in the circle, allowing just one hit and one hit batter while striking out 17.

Bundrant had three hits, Bodien two and Vogan one for Sharon.

               

Gianna Solderich had the lone hit of the game for Jamestown.

Miranda Biles took the loss, going six innings and allowing two unearned run, striking out 13 without issuing a walk.

CORRY 12, SLIPPERY ROCK 0, 5 innings

SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – Kendyl Chamberlin homered and drove in two runs and Payton McCray had three RBIs in Corry’s 12-1 win over Slippery Rock.

Corry scored six runs each in both the second and third innings en route to the win.

Allison Sawyer also had two hits and drove in two runs for Corry. Sawyer got the win, allowing one run on six hits in five innings, striking out five and walking two.

Mia Sosa took the loss, allowing 12 runs (two earned) in five innings on 10 hits, striking out four.

EISENHOWER 18, YOUNGSVILLE 2, 5 innings

YOUNGSVILLE, Pa. – Riley Gafner had four hits and five RBIs as Eisenhower powered past Youngsville, 18-2 in five innings.

            

Eisenhower scored nine runs in the second inning on its way to the win, collecting 26 hits as a team.

Julia Gesing and Payton Frank had five hits each for Ike, with Gesing driving in three runs and Frank one. Samantha Childs was 4-for-4 with two RBIs, while Hailey Highhouse was 3-for-4 with three RBIs and Nakita Nelson 2-for-3 with an RBI.

Frank got the win, allowing two runs on seven hits, striking out four and walking one.

Kam Swearingen, Madison Carnahan and Ireland Abraham had two hits each for Youngsville.

MEADVILLE 8, WARREN 1

MEADVILLE, Pa. – Meadville scored seven runs in the fifth and sixth innings to pull away for an 8-1 win over Warren.

Kendall Mealy and Rylee Kregel led the way offensively for Meadville with three hits and two RBIs each, while Addyson Kregel also had two hits and drove in a run.

Rylee Kregel fired a one-hitter in the win, striking out nine and walking two.

MERCER 17, SHARPSVILLE 3, 5 innings

SHARPSVILLE, Pa. – Ainsley Baldwin and Lexie Walker drove in three runs each as Mercer beat Sharpsville, 17-3 in five innings.

Walker had three hits and Baldwin two, while Lily Erwin was 2-for-3 with four runs scored and an RBI, Kailyn Adams 1-for-3 with two RBIs , Phoebe Eakman 1-for3 with two RBIs and Pressley Washil 2-for-5 with two RBIs.

Angelina Eakman got the win, allowing three runs (two earned) in five innings on four hits, striking out eight.

Miah Applegarth hit a solo home run for Sharpsville, while Lily Palko was also 1-for-2 with an RBI.

WEST MIDDLESEX 8, LAKEVIEW 2

WEST MIDDLESEX, Pa. – Julia Thornton and Lila Kimmel drove in two runs each as West Middlesex beat Mercer, 8-2.

Harper Nickel was 3-for-4 with three runs scored and an RBI for the winners, while Emily Dick was 3-for-4 with an RBI, as Mercer scored three runs each in both the fifth and sixth innings.

Kimmel got the win, allowing two runs (one earned) on six hits, striking out six.

Allison Sontheimer was 1-for-3 with two RBIs for Lakeview.

MCDOWELL 17, ERIE 4, 5 innings

ERIE, Pa. – Gabby DeLuca had four hits and five RBIs as McDowell beat Erie, 17-4 in five innings.

Ayva Mickel was 2-for-2 with two RBIs, while Grace Miller was 2-for-3 with three RBIs for the Trojans, who scored eight runs in the second inning.

DeLuca got the win, allowing three runs in three innings on two hits, striking out six and walking two.

Bella Oosterkamp had two RBIs for Erie.

UNION CITY 11, SENECA 1, 5 innings

UNION CITY, Pa. – Kaegann Gregor drove in a pair of runs as Union City beat Seneca, 11-1 in five innings.

Union City scored nine runs in the fourth inning en route to the win, taking advantage of six Seneca errors.

Cheyenne Cummings had three hits and an RBI for Union City, while Alissa Leech had two hits and an RBI and Alivia Zielsnki and Desirae Brown had one RBI each.

Alyssa Tingley got the win, striking out four, walking one and scattering six hits.

Aubrey Hammill had three hits for Seneca, while Samantha Primavere had an RBI.

CAMBRIDGE SPRINGS 1, SAEGERTOWN 0

CAMBRIDGE SPRINGS, Pa. – Triniti Caldwell’s RBI single accounted for the lone run of the game in Cambridge Springs’ 1-0 victory over Saegertown.

Kayla Crawford got the win for Cambridge Springs, striking out eight and allowing three hits.

For Saegertown allowed two hits and had eight strikeouts, and Kacie Mook had two hits.

FRANKLIN 12, GROVE CITY 2, 6 innings

FRANKLIN, Pa. – Kirsten Hicks and Jersey Swartz had two hits and three RBIs each as Franklin beat Grove City, 12-2 in six innings.

Abigail Boland had two hits, an RBI and scored three runs for Franklin, while Jillian Ewing had two hits and scored two runs, Rilee Hanna was 2-for-4 with an RBI and Haven Goodman 2-for-4 with two RBIs.

Swartz got the win, allowing two runs (one earned) on six hits, striking out six.

Morgan Eaton had two hits and an RBI for Grove City.

IROQUOIS 11, MAPLEWOOD 10

ERIE, Pa. Baelyn Randolph hit a 2-run home run with two outs in the seventh inning to send Iroquois to an 11-10 win over Maplewood, part of a four-run rally for the Braves in the seventh.

Randolph finished with three RBIs, while Grace Abele also drove in a pair of runs.

Izzy Somerville had three hits and three RBIs for Maplewood, while Sophia Niedbala and Lexus Whitman had two hits and two RBIs each and Jillian Shoemaker had a solo home run.
