Grove City Boys Capture Region Title; OV Girls Win; North Clarion Boys’ XC Still Unbeaten Powered by Hunter’s Station Golf Club

   

PULASKI, Pa. – West Middlesex won Thursday’s Region 2 mega match, but Grove City finished second to wrap up the region title.

West Middlesex finished with 329 points, while Grove City had 338.

Caden Bender shot a 72 and Bowen Briggs a 78.

For Grove City, Isaac Allan shot a 77 and Trent Nemec an 81.

Sharon’s Will Beckert shot an 84 and Slippery Rock’s Trent Davey carded an 85.

OSWAYO VALLEY GIRLS EDGE TOP CAMERON COUNTY

EMPORIUM, Pa. – Rylee Thompson shot a 43 as Oswayo Valley earned a 32-20 win over Oswayo Valley.

The two teams played the front nine at the Emporium Country Club.

Also for OV, Shayden Mesler shot a 48, Rachel Rathbun a 59 and Dannille Williams a 70.

                          

For Cameron County, Maggie Abraitis shot a 56, Emilia Copp a 74, Skylar Stevens a 76 and Addison Vasko an 83.

NORTH CLARION BOYS STAY PERFECT

FRILLS CORNERS, Pa. – North Clarion’s Gabriel Farr finished first with a time of 18:29.55 as the Wolves remained unbeaten with a win over Moniteau.

Moniteau’s Peyton Beck was second in 18:46.50, followed by North Clarion’s Aiden Thomas, Moniteau’s Allen Matz. and North Clarion’s Dane Slike.

On the girls side, Moniteau’s Alexis Kirschner was first in 24:12.28, more than two minutes clear of second place. There was no team scoring in the girls’ race.
