WARREN, Pa. – Austin’s Dawson Hooftallen and Cambridge Springs’ Tyler Troutman are the TapNPay+ boys’ basketball Performances of the Week for the week of Feb. 5-10, 2024.
Hooftallen, the District 9 winner, had a strong game in a 58-52 win over Smethport on Tuesday, Feb. 6.
He scored a career-high 33 points while adding 10 rebounds, five assists, five steals, and three blocked shots. He was 7 of 9 from the free-throw line in the fourth quarter to help seal the victory.
Troutman, the District 10 honoree, was tremendous in the Blue Devils’ 79-75 overtime win over A-C Valley on Monday, Feb. 5.
He scored a game-high 35 points in the victory, but that only tells a part of the story.
With his team trailing 52-49 going to the fourth quarter, Troutman drained three 3-pointers and scored 16 points to help forge a 72-all tie at the end of regulation.
