AML, NTL, KSAC Basketball Playoff Seedings, Schedules Set

WARREN, Pa. – The seedings and schedules for the AML, NTL, and KSAC basketball league playoffs are set.

Redbank Valley is the top seed in the KSAC girls’ playoffs, followed by North Clarion, Karns City, and Clarion. The Bulldogs are the top seed for the boys as well, followed by Clarion, Karns City, and Clarion-Limestone.

All KSAC playoff games will be played at Clarion University’s Tippin Gymnasium. The girls’ semifinals will be on Thursday, Feb. 15, with North Clarion vs. Karns City at 6 p.m., and RBV vs. Clarion at 7:30 p.m. The boys’ semifinals will be played on Friday, Feb. 16, with Clarion vs. Karns City at 6 p.m. and RBV vs. C-L at 7:30 p.m.

The championship games will be played on Saturday, Feb. 17 with the girls’ semifinal winners set to tipoff at 6 p.m., and the boys’ championship at 8 p.m.

Port Allegany earned the top seed in the NTL girls’ playoffs, with Coudersport No. 2, Otto-Eldred No. 3, and Oswayo Valley No. 4. The semifinals will be played Wednesday, Feb. 14 at 7 p.m. with the Gators hosting the Green Wave and the Falcons hosting the Terrors.

                                      

Otto-Eldred is the top seed for the boys, followed by Cameron County, Port Allegany, and Coudersport. The semifinals will be played at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 15 with the Terrors hosting the Falcons, and the Red Raiders hosting the Gators.

The boys’ and girls’ championship games will be played on Saturday, Feb. 17 at Bradford High School with the girls tipping at 5 p.m. and the boys at 7 p.m.

Elk County Catholic earned the No. 1 seed in the AML North for both the boys and girls, while St. Marys earned that distinction in the AML South. Ridgway is the No. 2 team in the AML South for both boys and girls, while Johnsonburg’s boys and Kane’s girls are the No. 2 seed out of the AML North in their respective divisions.

The girls’ semifinals will be played at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 15 with ECC hosting Ridgway and St. Marys hosting Kane.

The boys will play their semifinals at 7 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 16 with ECC hosting Ridgway and St. Marys hosting Johnsonburg.

                          

The championship games will be played at St. Marys on Saturday, Feb. 17. The girls are scheduled to tip at 6 p.m. and the boys at 7:30 p.m.
