WARREN 7, MEADVILLE 3

WARREN, Pa. – Alana Stuart homered and drove in three runs and was also the winning pitcher as Warren remained perfect with a 7-3 win over Meadville.

Katie Madigan set the tone for the Warren offense at the top of the lineup, going 3-for-4 with two runs and two RBIs.

Warren had 10 hits on the day, as Carly Beers was also 2-for-3 with an RBI. Warren scored three runs in the first inning and three more in the fourth.

   

                  

Elliott Schleicher belted a two-run home run for Meadville.

Katie Say took the loss for the Bulldogs.

COCHRANTON 8, MAPLEWOOD 6

COCHRANTON, Pa. – Cochranton scored six runs in the fifth inning, capped by Chelsey Freyermuth’s two-run home run in an 8-6 win over Maplewood.

It was part of a big game for Freyermuth, who added another home run, a solo shot in the seventh inning.

                          

Jaylin McGill also drove in three runs for the Cardinals, including a double. Megan Heim was also 2-for-4.

Taytum Jackson got the win, allowing six runs (three earned) in seven innings, allowing eight hits, and striking out nine.

Eve Beuchat had a big game for Maplewood, going 2-for-4 with a double, home run, and three RBIs.

HICKORY 4, SHARON 3, 8 innings

               

SHARON, Pa. – Kaelyn Fustos’ RBI single in the top of the eighth inning lifted Hickory to a 4-3, eight-inning win over Sharon.

It was part of a 2-for-3, two-RBI game for Fustos. Also for Hickory, Madison Reardon had three hits, including a solo home run, and Layla McClung was 2-for-4 with an RBI.

Hallie Miller got the win, going 3 ⅔ innings and allowing one unearned run on one hit and two walks, striking out five.

For Sharon, Iresha Norris was 3-for-3 with a run scored.

Miranda Metro took the loss, allowing four runs in eight innings on 10 hits, striking out three.

SENECA 7, NORTHWESTERN 3

WATTSBURG, Pa. – Seneca scored four runs in the fourth inning on its way to a 7-3 win over Northwestern.

Riley Currier doubled and tripled and drove in a pair of runs, while Alara Bem also drove in a pair of runs.

Lauren Konkol got the win, allowing three runs on eight hits, striking out seven.

FAIRVIEW 22, CONNEAUT (OHIO) 11

            

CONNEAUT, OHIO – Addison Anderson and Tayor Polach had four hits apiece as Fairview powered past Conneaut (Ohio), 22-11.

Polach was 4-for-5 with two triples, three RBIs and three runs, while Anderson was 4-for-6 with three RBIs and two runs as Fairview collected 20 hits in the game.

Sofia Ortiz was 2-for-6 with two doubles and two RBIs, while Emma DiStefano and Ella Dworek drove in two runs each.

Kaitlyn Bean and Emily Lorello drove in two runs each for Conneaut.

OIL CITY 13, A-C VALLEY 3, 6 innings

FOXBURG, Pa. – Payton Burk went 3-for-4 and drove in a pair of runs as Oil City topped A-C Valley, 13-3 in six innings.

Maddie Wenner was 2-for-3 with two runs for the Oilers, while Abby Foley was 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI and Nyssa Hanlon 1-for-3 with two runs, two RBIs, and a double.

Shalyn Whittemore got the win, allowing two earned runs in five innings, allowing five hits, and striking out six.

Alivya Hartzell had a pair of RBIs for A-C Valley, while Colleen Verostek drove in one.

Mackenzie Parks took the loss, allowing 13 runs (seven earned) in six innings on 13 hits, striking out five.
