Here are the run downs of the District 9 and District 10 teams.
In Class 1A girls’ action, District 9 champion Elk County Catholic will face District 6 runner-up Williamsburg at 7 p.m. at West Branch High School in Morrisdale, while D9 third-place finisher DuBois Central Catholic will meet D6 champion Bishop Guilfoyle at 7 p.m. at PennWest Clarion’s Tippin Gym.
Class 4A girls’ play sees D10 champion Fairview facing WPIAL fourth-place finisher Laurel Highlands at 6:30 p.m. at North Allegheny High School while D10 second-place finisher Warren takes on WPIAL champion North Catholic at 5:30 p.m. at PennWest Edinboro’s McComb Fieldhouse. District 9 champion St. Marys plays WPIAL runner-up Blackhawk at 7 p.m. at Keystone High School in Knox.
In a Class 5A girls’ contest, D10 representative Cathedral Prep takes on District 3 runner-up Northern York at 5:30 p.m. at Norwin High School in North Hungtingdon Township.
The Class 2A boys’ bracket shows District 9 champion Redbank Valley battling District 6 runner-up West Shamokin at 7 p.m. at Armstrong High School in Kittanning with District 10 third-place finisher Eisenhower taking on WPIAL champion Aliquippa at 7 p.m. at PennWest Edinboro’s McComb Fieldhouse.
Class 3A boys’ action has District 10 champion Girard taking on District 6 third-place finisher Bishop Guilfoyle at 5:30 p.m. at PennWest Clarion’s Tippin Gym with District 10 runner-up Franklin playing District 5 champion Chestnut Ridge at 6 p.m. at Gateway High School in Monroeville.
In a Class 6A boys’ contest, District 10 champion McDowell will face District 3 fourth-place finisher Reading at 6 p.m. at Altoona High School.
