FAIRVIEW Pa. – Villa Maria’s Anne Marie Prichard and Abby Consiglio won the District 10 Class 2A doubles tennis titles, while McDowell’s Samantha Becker and Brooke Lowry captured the Class 3A crown at Fairview’s Chris Batchelor Memorial Courts.
Prichard and Consiglio topped Mercyhurst Prep’s Alie DiNicola and Lauren Richmaond, 7-5, 6-1.
In Class 3A, meanwhile, it was an all-McDowell final, as Becker and Lowry topped teammates Maria Minichelli and Nabiah Bhatti.
Thursday’s winners qualified for the the PIAA subregionals next week.
