Reynolds Goes 5-0 at Ultimate Duals; Central Clarion Wins Mercer Tournament Powered by Luton’s Plumbing, Heating, & A/C

BROOKVILLE, Pa. – Reynolds’s Chase Bell ended a 5-0 day for the Raiders in style at the Brookville Ultimate Duals.

                        

Tied 25-25 with Fort LeBoeuf, Reynolds’ Chase Bell got a sudden victory takedown of Fort LeBoeuf’s Jake Bennett to earn a 3-1 win.

Brookville, meanwhile, had a tough day, going 0-5 against United (48-25), LeBoeuf (35-26), Burrell (33-27), Reynolds (47-22) and Chesnut Ridge (33-27).

Despite that, it was a great day for the Raiders Cole Householder, who picked up his 100th career win as part of a dominant performance. Householder went 5-0 for the tournament, notching three pins, one tech fall and one major decision, picking up his 100th career win in the process.

In addition to its wins over Fort LeBoeuf and Brookville, Reynolds picked up wins over Chestnut Ridge (40-23), United (35-27), and Burrell.

                              

Angelo Lomonto, Bell and Logan Stewart all went 4-0 for the Raiders on the day, with the results against United unavailable.

CENTRAL CLARION WINS MERCER VFW TOURNAMENT

MERCER, Pa. – Led by individual championships from Logan Powell at 133 and Jacob Henry at 160 , Central Clarion took first place at the Mercer VFW Tournament.

Central Clarion finished with 168.5 team points in the 16-team field, followed by Fort Cherry (156) and Laurel (151.5).

Also winning individual titles were Slippery Rock’s Aiden Shay (107), Mercer’s Carter Wise (127), Sharon’s Mequan Maxwell (139), Cambridge Springs’ Brody Beck (145), Bradford’s Jordan Thompson (152) and Coudesport’s Gavyn Ayers (215).
