RENOVO, Pa. – A referee shortage has caused a pair of Friday games in District 9 – one originally scheduled for Sept. 10 and the other originally scheduled for Oct. 15 – to be moved to Thursday nights.

Both games involved Union/A-C Valley, although neither game was a home game for the Falcon Knights.

The Sept. 10 Union/A-C Valley at Bucktail game will now be played Thursday, Sept. 9, and the Oct. 15 Union/A-C Valley at Cameron County game will now be played Thursday, Oct. 14. Both games will be at 7 p.m.

Information on how to become a PIAA official can be found here.
