Reese Leads Bradford to First Win Since 2019

COUDERSPORT, Pa. – It’s over.

For the first time since Oct. 4, 2019, Bradford football is in the win column.

After losing 30 straight games, the Owls got back on the winning side with a 34-12 win at Coudersport.

The Owls’ last win before Friday night was a 59-34 victory at home over Punxsutawney.

            

Talan Reese led the way for Bradford going 28 of 33 passing for 339 yards and three touchdowns.

All three scores were to Jake Franz, who caught 10 passes for 210 yards.

A.J. Gleason also scored twice on the ground for the Owls and picked off a pair of passes.

Bradford’s defense limited Coudersport to 100 yards, including just 26 on the ground.

Gavin Ayers was 6 of 22 passing for 74 yards, a touchdown, and two interceptions, while Jackson Moss caught two passes for 32 yards. Ethan Ott ran five times for 19 yards.

                          

The touchdown pass was a 22-yard strike to Colby Lewis in the second quarter, and John Wright returned a kickoff 85 yards for a score for the Falcons.
