MECHANICSBURG, Pa. – Redbank Valley’s record-setting season earned seven Bulldogs a place on the Pennsylvania Football Writers’ Class 1A All-State team, with 11 total District 9/10 players earning All-State honors.
Quarterback Braylon Wagner, who threw for 3,045 yards (for the first time in program history) with 46 TDs to just 6 interceptions, and wide receivers Ashton Kahle and Mason Clouse, who both went over 1,000 yards receiving (the first time in program history) made the offense. They were joined by OL Christian Clinger. Linebacker Caden Adams and DL Brandon Ross were named to the defense, while Owen Clouse earned the nod at specialist.
Lakeview had a pair of selections in Mitchell Tingley (Ath) and Danick Hinkson (DB).
Brockway’s Reese Yahner (OL), and Mercer’s Daemyin Mattocks (DB) round out the D9/D10 contingent.
Steelton-Highspire quarterback Alex Erby was named Player of the Year for the second straight year, while South Williamsport’s Chris Eiswerth was named Coach of the Year.
