NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – Madison Soudan’s first half goal off her own rebounds proved to be the difference in Girard’s 1-0 win over Wilmington.
Peyton Koma got the shutout in net for Girard.
Brianna Jenkins was strong in net for Wilmington with 11 saves.
CATHEDRAL PREP 1, AVONWORTH 0
PITTSBURGH – After battling through two overtimes, Prep beat Avonworth 4-3 in a shootout for its first win of the season.
Olivia Dixon scored in the first half off an assist from Rory Noonan.
WARREN 7, CAMBRIDGE SPRINGS 0
WARREN, Pa. – Lucy Bigelow had a hat trick as Warren earned a 7-0 win over Cambridge Springs.
Leyna Irwin and Meea Irwin had two goals each for the Dragons, with Bigelow, both Irwins, and Lani Wenzel recording one assist each.
Eliza Brook had two helpers for Warren.
Hailey Peterson had 10 saves to earn the clean sheet in net.

NORTH EAST, Pa. – Ayiana Thomson had two goals to help lead North East to a 4-2 win over Meadville.
Thomson also had two assists in the win.

GIRARD, Pa. – Braxton Johnson had four goals to lead Girard to a 7-1 win over Eisenhower.
Caleb Watt, Jacob Tolbert and Michael Valeschi had the other goals for Girard.

NORTH EAST, Pa. – Four different North East players scored in a 4-2 win over Meadville.
Joel Morey, Zach Pondo, Tommy Hartner and Kai Vanderweele all found the back of the net for the ‘Pickers.
Will Vanderweele had two assists for North East.
