Pistner Sets School Record in 800, St. Marys 4×800 Takes First at Butler Invitational

BUTLER, Pa. – It was a banner day for Gabby Pistner and St. Marys at the 58th Butler Invitational.

Pistner won the 800 meters in a time of 2:15.47, breaking Adair Gennocro’s school record in the event.

She then teamed with Lucia Hayes, Maura Caskey, and Mary Defillippi to win the 4×800 relay with a time of 9:40.42.

On the girls’ side, Union/A-C Valley’s Evie Bliss was also a winner in the javelin with a throw of 138-9.

   

                  

For the boys, Slippery Rock’s Levi Prementine won the 300 hurdles with a time of 39.24. Prementine also added a second-place finish in the 110 hurdles.

Union/A-C Valley’s Hayden Smith won the high jump in 6-5, while Erie’s Bradon Schneider won the pole vault with a leap of 15-1, and Karns City’s Luke Cramer with a throw of 157-7.

Redbank Valley’s Cam Wagner was also second in the discus and shot put, while Oil City’s Cam Crocker was third in the discus and Redbank’s Brayden Delp was third in the shot put.
