WARREN, Pa. – DuBois Central Catholic’s Andrew Green and Mercer’s Dae Mattocks are the TapNPay+ boys’ basketball Performances of the Week for the week of Jan. 14-20, 2024.
Green, the District 9 honoree, had a monster game in a 62-48 Cardinal win at Kane on Saturday, Jan. 20, scoring a career-high 35 points to go with 12 rebounds. He was 17 of 21 from the free-throw line in the game.
At the beginning of the week, Mattocks, the District 10 winner, played a key role in Mercer’s come-from-behind 60-57 win over Shenango at the Ron Galbreath Classic on Sunday, Jan. 14.
He scored 28 points and had eight steals in the victory that saw the Mustangs down 46-36 going to the fourth quarter, .
