Commodore Perry’s Stringert Hits 1,000-Point Milestone in Setback to Jamestotwn

HADLEY, Pa. – Despite a 59-55 loss to Commodore Perry, it was a memorable night for Panthers’ senior Kyle Stringert.

Stringer, who was sitting at 990 points coming into the game, reached the milestone with a 3-point in the second quarter.

He scored 16 points in the game and now has 1,006 for his career. He also finished with seven rebounds in the game.

Andrew Gould finished with 25 points to lead Jamestown to the win, while Gage Planavksy had 15 and Cole Ternent netted 10.

He becomes just the third Commodore Perry boys’ player to reach the milestone and first since all-time scoring leader Clay Sindlinger (2,015) did so in 2007. Ron Kirby is second on the list with 1,339 points

                                      

Nick Brown also had 16 points for Commodore Perry, while Xavier Williams added 11.
