BOYS

CORRY 54, EISENHOWER 35

RUSSELL, Pa. – Logan Joncas scored 14 of his 23 points in the first quarter as Corry raced to a 54-35 win over Eisenhower in the season finale for both teams. 

                                      

Joncas, who was coming off a 27-point game in a win over Conneaut, knocked down six more 3s against the Knights.

Nick Brundage and Tucker Clark had 11 points apiece for Corry, which led 30-19 at halftime. 

Caleb Robinault had 11 points, all in the first half, for Eisenhower, while Wyatt Lookenhouse netted all eight of his points in the second hal. 

                          

BROOKVILLE 71, SLIPPERY ROCK 50

SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – Jace Miner scored 17 of his team-high 21 points in the second half as Brookville raced to a 71-50 win over Slippery Rock. 

Danny Laurer got off to a quick start for the Raiders, who led 33-21 at halftime, scoring 13 of his 16 points in the first half. Lauer knocked down four 3s. 

Hunter Geer added 14 points for Brookville. 

Ethan Plesakov scored a game-high 23 points for Slippery Rock, while John Sabo chipped in with 13. 

ROCKY GROVE 55, IROQUOIS 52

LAWRENCE PARK, Pa. – Isaac Clayton poured in 25 points as Rocky Grove topped Iroquois, 55-52. 

The Orioles outscored the Braves 26-22 in the second half en route to the win. 

Caden Toscano chipped in with 13 points for the Orioles. 

Sam Santiago led Iroquois with 17 points and Ben Burkhardt added 15. 

                                   

GIRLS

CORRY 41, NORTHWESTERN 39

CORRY, Pa. – Rachel Brady led a balanced scoring effort with 12 points as Corry edged Northwestern, 41-39. 

Corry raced out to a 14-point lead in the first quarter en route to the win. 

Skylar Riedel added nine pints and Kiran Bugbee seven for Corry. 

Jessamine Saxton netted a game-high 18 points for Corry. 

COMMODORE PERRY 40, ROCKY GROVE 19

HADLEY, Pa. – Mackenzie Hause netted 14 points to help Commodore Perry to a 40-19 win over Rocky Grove. 

Rylee Reed had nine points to pace Rocky Grove.
