Klawuhn Leads ECC Girls to Win; St. Marys Clinches AML South; Port Allegany Rolls

Lucy Klawuhn hit six 3-pointers on her way to 22 points in ECC's win over Johnsonbrg Friday.

JOHNSONBURG, Pa. – Lucy Klawuhn knocked down six 3-pointers on her way to a game-high 22 points to lead Elk County Catholic to a 59-28 AML win at Johnsonburg.

Emily Mouer added 12 points for the Lady Crusaders (15-1 overall, 7-1 AML North) while Sami Straub had nine points.

Zoey Grunthaner and Gianna Zimmerman each had six points for Johnsonburg (4-11, 0-5).

ST. MARYS 52, BROCKWAY 19

BROCKWAY, Pa. – Jayssa Snelick scored a game-high 19 points as St. Marys claimed the AML South title with a 52-19 road win over Brockway.

                                      

Alexa Schneider chipped in 11 points for the Lady Dutch (11-3, 8-0) with Maura Caskey scoring 10 points and Molly Hansloan scoring eight points.

Rheanna Spinda led Brockway (5-12, 1-6) with seven points.

PORT ALLEGANY 60, KANE 28

KANE, Pa. – A monster game from Ella Moses led Port Allegany to a 60-28 win at Kane.

Moses had 21 points, 13 rebounds, five assists, and four steals.

                          

Brynn Evens added 14 points, seven rebounds, and four assists for the Lady Gators (14-4) while Jenna Renner chipped in nine points and Kayleigha Dowell seven points, eight rebounds, and five assists.

Maya Smith led Kane (8-7) with seven points.
