ELK COUNTY CATHOLIC 42, KANE 25

ST. MARYS, Pa. – Syd Alexander led a balanced scoring effort for Elk County Catholic with 13 points in a 42-25 win over visiting Kane in AML North play.

Lucy Klawuhn hit three third-quarter 3-pointers to add nine points for the Lady Crusaders, who used a 21-point third quarter to overcome a 15-14 halftime deficit.

Sami Straub and Emily Mauer each chipped in eight points in the win for ECC.

                                      

Cora Jekielek led Kane with eight points.

CURWENSVILLE 36, MOSHANNON VALLEY 23

CURWENSVILLE, Pa. – Alyssa Bakaysa scored 10 of her game-high 14 points in the first half to lead Curwensville to a 36-23 win over visiting Moshannon Valley in ICC North play.

Kyra Henry added nine for the Lady Tide, who were without starter Joslynne Freyer.

Madison McCoy led Moshannon Valley with seven points.

                          

KEYSTONE 48, BROOKVILLE 43

BROOKVILLE, Pa. – Natalie Bowser continued her strong play and led Keystone to its third straight win with a 48-43 win at Brookville.

Bowser scored 10 of Keystone’s first 12 points and finished with 23 points and 15 rebounds, capping off the double-double with nine points in the fourth quarter. She wound up 11-for-24 from the floor.

Keystone led by as many as 16 points in the fourth quarter at 44-28 before Brookville chipped away, but the game was in hand even as the Lady Raiders got to within five points in the closing seconds.

Emma Gruber scored nine points while Amanda Reyes had eight points and nine rebounds. Sydney Bell didn’t score but pulled down 12 rebounds.

Alayna Haight scored all 18 of her points in the second half as the Lady Raiders trailed 24-12 at the break after missing 27 of 32 shots from the floor. Eden Wonderling added 13 points and nine rebounds.

REDBANK VALLEY 57, VENANGO CATHOLIC 28

NEW BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Redbank Valley raced out to a 31-6 lead at the end of the first quarter and never looked back on its way to a 57-28 win over visiting Venango Catholic.

Alivia Huffman scored nine of her team-high 12 points in the opening quarter, while Caylen Rearick hit a pair of 3-pointers in the frame, her only points of the game.

Madison Foringer also scored 12 points for the Lady Bulldogs, while Mylee Harmon chipped in nine.

                                   

Lily Homan scored 18 for Venango Catholic with Kennedy Liederbach adding seven.

NORTH CLARION 53, CRANBERRY 17

FRILLS CORNERS, Pa. – Building a 32-11 halftime lead, North Clarion vanquished visiting Cranberry, 53-17, behind a balanced offensive effort that saw eight different players score including six with six points or more.

Emma McFarland led the She-Wolves with 10 points with her twin sister Madison McFarland adding eight points. Also scoring eight were Emily Aites and Gwen Siegel with Amya Green and Lauren Lutz each chipping in with six.

Ayanna Ferringer scored nine points to pace Cranberry.
