CAMBRIDGE SPRINGS 48, YOUNGSVILLE 39

YOUNGSVILLE, Pa. – Trent Wheeler scored 18 points as Cambridge Springs topped Youngsville in Region 2 action, 48-39. 

Leading 21-17 at halftime, the Blue Devils outscored the Eagles 18-10 in the third quarter to assume control. 

                                      

Jayden Shinsky scored 11 points – all in the second half, while Nathan Held added 10 for the winners. 

The Eagles knocked down seven three’s, including three from Brady Olewine, who finished with a team-high 15 points. 

Joe Mack scored all 10 of his points in the second half for the Eagles.

FAIRVIEW 71, FRANKLIN 49

FRANKLIN, Pa. – James Sitter scored 23 points as Fairview knocked off Frankli iin a non-region showdown, 71-49. 

The Tigers led 36-25 at halftime. 

Logan Frzao had 15 points and Tyler Shultz 12 for Fairview. 

Hayden Adams had a big game for Franklin, pouring in 22 points, while Easton Fulmer added 15. 

WARREN 47, OIL CITY 36

WARREN, Pa. – Warren jumped out to a 31-19 halftime lead on its way to a 47-36 win over Oil City. 

                                   

Ben Berdine had a monster game for the Dragons with 20 points and 16 rebounds. 

Parks Ordiway had 12 points for the Dragons and Tommy Nyquist 10. 

Cameron VanWormer and Isaiah Aeschbacher had nine points each for the Oilers. 

SHARPSVILLE 61, WILMINGTON 33

SHARPSVILLE, Pa. – James Thomas exploded for 28 points as Sharpsville eased past Wilmington, 61-33. 

Jackson Doyle added 15 for the winners. 

Caelan Bender had nine points for the Greyhounds. 

EISENHOWER 52, SAEGERTOWN 36

RUSSELL, Pa. – Eisenhower pulled away late, outscoring Saegertown 18-9 in the fourth quarter en route to a 52-36 Region 2 win. 

Caleb Robinault had a huge game for the Knights, hitting three 3’s on his way to 19 points. 

Luke Smelko scored 12 points and Owen Trumbull 11 for Eisenhower. 

Jaden Wilkins led Sagertown with 11 points, while Brady Greco and Max Fuller added eight each.

HICKORY 56, SHARON 21

HERMITAGE, Pa. – Hickory outscored Sharon 33-9 in the second half en route to a 56-21 win. 

Tyson Djakovich had 17 points to lead the winners. 

                                  

CORRY 78, TITUSVILLE 46

CORRY, Pa. – Corry outscored Titusville 25-9 in the first quarter and never looked back en route to a 78-46 victory. 

Logan Joncas exploded for 28 points in the victory, while Tucker Clark netted 18 and Nick Brundage 12. 

Manny Perez led Titusville with 12 points. 

GROVE CITY 68, GREENVILLE 48

GREENVILLE, Pa. – Grove City erupted for 48 points in the first half in a 68-38 win over Greenville. 

Dylan Stull knocked down six 3’s on his way to 23 points, while Michael Brooks added 16. 

Landon Bielata had 12 points to pace Greenville. 

COCHRANTON 53, UNION CITY 46

COCHRANTON, Pa. – Cochranton led by by 19 after three quarters and withstood a Union City comeback attempt in a 53-46 win. 

The Cardinals, who led 30-22 at halftime and 47-28 after three quarters, got 16 points from Jaiben Walker in the win. 

Jon Gallo added 13 points for the Cardinals and Tyler George nine. 

Union City was led by Cole DeSimone, Matt Bennett and Josh James, who scored 10 points apiece. 

JAMESTOWN 48, COMMODORE PERRY 25

JAMESTOWN, Pa. – Peyton McEllhinny and Cameron Keyser scored 16 points each as Jamestown beat Commodore Perry, 48-25. 

The Muskies led 30-8 at halftime. 

Karson Cropp had nine points for Commodore Perry. 

ERIE 64, FARRELL 27

FARRELL, Pa. – Jamie Smith scored 18 points as Erie eased past Farrell. 

The Royals led 35-13 at halftime. 

Marquell Darnell had 14 points for the Royals and Marcell Banks 11. 

MERCYHURST PREP 47, ERIE FIRST CHRISTIAN 36

ERIE, Pa. – Daunte Wilcott led a balanced effort with 13 points as Mercyhurst Prep beat Erie First Christian, 47-36. 

Aaron Collins led EFC with 18 points. 

KENNEDY CATHOLIC 71, ROCKY GROVE 32

HERMITAGE, Pa. – Sky’Ler Thomas and Da’jaun Young scored 16 points each as Kennedy Catholic beat Rocky Grove, 72-31. 

Elijah Harden also had 11 for the winners. 

MEADVILLE 84, MERCER 40

MERCER, Pa. – Alex McElhinny and Matt Panchura scored 20 points each as Meadville raced past Mercer, 84-40.

Sam Burchard added 19 for the Bulldogs. 

Logan Turton had 16 points for Mercer. 

GIRLS

MCDOWELL 45, CORRY 15

ERIE, Pa. – Jessica Hetz scored 11 points as McDowell beat Corry, 45-15. 

The Lady Trojans, who also got eight points from Emina Selimovic, led 28-7 at halftime. 

Rachel Brady led Corry with nine points. 

SLIPPERY ROCK 73, OIL CITY 13

OIL CITY, Pa. – Anna Kadlubek scored 19 points as Slippery Rock beat Oil City, 73-13. 

Ella McDermott had 13 points and Kelly Benson 11 for the Lady Rockets. 

Jenna Fischli had six points to pace OC.
