BROOKVILLE 36, CLEARFIELD 32

In a marquee matchup of two of the top heavyweights in the state, Brookville’s Nathan Taylor beat Clearfield’s Oliver Billotte, 6-2, to give the visiting Raiders a 36-32 win. 

Brookville won four matches via forfeit at 113, 120, 126 and 172, while Clearfield won by forfeit at 132 and 145. 

                              

Also for the Raiders, Wyatt Griffin won by pin at 160 and Bryce Rafferty by decision at 215. 

Mark McGonigal earned a pin at 189 for the Bison, while Evan Davis won via major decision at 106, as did Karson Kline at 152. Justin Hand got a fall at 138 as well for Clearfield. 

JOHNSONBURG 31, PORT ALLEGANY 25 

PORT ALLEGANY, Pa. – There was plenty of drama as Johnsonburg and Port Allegany came down to the final match of the night

Johnsonbug’s Nolan Shaffer pinned Port Allegany’s Scott Fuller at 138 pounds lifting the visiting Rams to a 31-25 victory.

EISENHOWER 56, CLARION 12

CLARION, Pa. – Alex Hummel battled to a 14-3 major decision over Ashton Rex as Eisenhower battled past Clarion, 56-12. 

Eisenhower won six matches via forfeit en route to the win. 

Knights’ coach Kris Black talked about the win afterward.

On the mat, Mikeal Beaver (189) and Cael Black (215) won by pin for the Knights, and Gannon Jaquay (152) won via major decision. 

For Clarion, Josh Beal earned a pin at 285, as did Cutter Boggess at 172.
