MEADVILLE, Pa. – Hickory (2A girls), McDowell (3A girls), Grove City (2A boys) and Warren (3A boys) captured the 2023 District 10 team golf championships on Monday at the Country Club of Meadville.
Hickory was led by a record-breaking round from Sasha Petrochko, who shot a female course record of 8-under 64. The Hornets finished with a team score of 213, with Luciana Masters shooting a 71 and Ava Liburdi a 78. Fairview was second at 251, paced by Cora Hirz’s 78.

The Warren boys, meanwhile, captured their first team title in program history. The Dragons (314), edged Cathedral Prep (323). Braddock Damore led the way for Warren with a 72, which has him in first place in the 36-hole individual competition, while Brady Berdine shot a 75, Connor Zaffino an 83 and Reid Olsen an 84.

Grove City (325) finished 13 strokes better than Oil City (338) and Lakeview (338) for the 2A boys’ title. Isaac Allan’s 74 has him tied for first place in the individual competition after Day 1, while Logan Goodrich shot an 81, Trent Nemec an 83 and Jimmy Irani an 87.
The McDowell girls had a team score of 248, while Meadville finished at 300. For McDowell, Analise Wolf shot a 79, Alexis Marsh an 84 and Genelia Kang an 85.
Day two of the individual championships concludes with 18 holes on Tuesday.
