There was a bit of drama for the 16th and final spot in Saturday’s second round with Clarion teammates Mitrosky and Miller having to play a playoff hole on No. 10 with Mitrosky coming out with the victory on the hole to claim the final spot.

In Class 3A, eight made the cut for Saturday, including six from District 9.

Franz will go into Saturday leading St. Marys’ Louie Nedzinski by a shot, 78-79, and St. Marys’ Max Croyle by five shots, 78-83.
