BOYS

ELK COUNTY CATHOLIC 1, PORT ALLEGANY 0

ST. MARYS, Pa. – Frank Messineo scored the lone goal of the game as Elk County Catholic earned a 1-0 win over Port Allegany.

Sagan Beaver had two saves in net for ECC, while Aidan Clark had four stops for Port Allegany.

            

HARBOR CREEK 1, FAIRVIEW 0

HARBOR CREEK, Pa. – Ben Wolfe’s goal with 22 minutes remaining proved to be the difference as Harbor Creek edged Fairview, 1-0.

Ryan Humprheys had the clean sheet in net for the Huskies.

EISENHOWER 5, SAEGERTOWN 0

RUSSELL, Pa. – Logan Degnan scored four goals and Casey Seymour pitched a shutout in net as Eisenhower blanked Saegertown, 5-0.

                          

Degnan had a first-half hat trick and added an assist on the opening goal of the match. Seymour had 11 saves in the win.

The Knights wasted little time getting on the board. Degnan sprung Bryce Wilkins down the center for a goal less than 5:30 into the match.

Wilkins returned the favor two minutes later, assisting on Degnan’s first of the game. Eight minutes later Degnan pushed the lead to 3-0 on an unassisted tally.

He recorded the hat trick with just over three minutes to play in the first half.

Degnan closed out the scoring 14 minutes into the second half.

Wilkins had a goal and an assist and Abe Wolf had an assist.

COUDERSPORT 2, RIDGWAY 1

RIDGWAY, Pa. – Mason Roessner and Drew Vanwhy scored in the first half to lead Coudersport to a 2-1 win over Ridgway.

Micah Baston had two assists and Roessner one for the Falcons.

FRANKLIN 4, WARREN 1

                        

FRANKLIN, Pa. – Carson Whitling scored a pair of goals to lead Franklin to a 4-1 win over Warren.

Ethan Umbenhaur and Caleb Griffin had the other goals for the Knights.

Finn Ordiway scored for Warren.

KANE 3, NORTHERN POTTER 2

ULYSSES, Pa. – Connor Asel, Tysin Boschert and Mason Merry all scored to lead Kane to a 3-2 win over Northern Potter.

         

Blaine Good, Boschert and Ben Walter had one assist each.

Chase Hultman had seven saves in net for the Wolves.

GIRARD 3, FORT LEBOEUF 0

WATERFORD, Pa. – Noah Panic scored a pair of goals to lead Girard to a 3-0 win over Fort LeBoeuf.

Panic also had an assist in the win.

MCDOWELL 3, GENERAL MCLANE 1

ERIE, Pa. – Jake Levy scored a pair of goals for McDowell to lead them to a 3-1 win over General McLane.

GIRLS

KARNS CITY 5, SLIPPERY ROCK 1

KARNS CITY, Pa. – Phoebe Brandon had two goals and two assists to help lead Karns City to a 5-1 win over Slippery Rock.

Bree O’Donnell, Hanna Dailey and Aubrey Price had the other goals.

Dailey had two assists and Sarah Dodd one for the Gremlins.

BISHOP GUILFOYLE 2, CLEARFIELD 1

HYDE, Pa. – Emma Marasco’s goal with 33 seconds left in the first half proved to be the difference as Bishop Guilfoyle earned a 2-1 win over Clearfield.

Marasco scored just over two minutes into the game, but Clearfield’s Alana Winters answered in the 35th minute off a feed from Mia Smith to tie the game.

Finley Steinbugl assisted on the game-winner.

Mia Helsel had two stops for Clearfield and Abrie Rumfola three for BG.

ELK COUNTY CATHOLIC 2, PORT ALLEGANY 0

ST. MARYS, Pa. – Sami Straub and Seanna VanAlstine both scored to help lead Elk County Catholic to a 2-0 win over Port Allegany.

Both goals were unassisted.
