KNOX, Pa. – North Clarion won its boys’ cross country meets against Keystone (23-34) and A-C Valley/Union (15-45) on Tuesday.
Johnny Hansford of Keystone won overall with a time of 19:09. The North Clarion boys brought in the next two runners, Gabriel Fair and Jackson Nicewonger. Keystone’s Drew Crompton finished fourth, followed by North Clarion’s pack of Dane Sliker, Aiden Thomas, and Dean Sliker.
In the dual meet race of North Clarion vs. ACV/Union, North Clarion brought in the top five runners .
The varsity girls race did not have enough runners to score between Keystone or A-C Valley. Winning the race overall was North Clarion’s Abby Hastings (25:10), with her teammate Kaylee Castner coming in second. Noelle Booth was first for Keystone and Lydia Opp was A-C Valley/Union’s top runner.
