WARREN, Pa. – Eisenhower’s Austin Hanson and Brookville’s Jack Pete are the TapNPay+ boys’ basketball performances of the week for the week of Jan. 8-13, 2024.
Hanson, the District 10 winner, had a career-high 27 points in a 51-41 win over Saegertown on Jan. 9 in a matchup of two teams that entered Region 3 play unbeaten.
Hanson, only a freshman, was at his best during a 16-8 second quarter that gave the Knights a 26-14 halftime lead scoring 11 points in the quarter.
Pete, the District 9 honoree, had a career-high 27 points to go with 10 rebounds in a 77-65 win over previously unbeaten West Branch on Jan. 10.
