ST. MARYS, Pa. – District 9 released its 2023 volleyball playoff brackets on Friday.

Class 1A • Class 2A • Class 3A
Clarion-Limestone (1A), Punxsutawney (2A), and DuBois (3A) earned the top seeds in their respective classes. The Beavers earned a bye into the Class 3A championship game, where they will face the winner of the match between No. 2 Clearfield and No. 3 St. Marys (Oct. 26 at 6 p.m. in Clearfield). The site time and location of the championship match will be announced.
The Class 1A bracket is a 14-team field with C-L and No. 2 Elk County Catholic earning byes into the quarterfinals. First-round games will be on Tuesday, Oct. 24 at 6:30 p.m. and will be at the home site of the higher seed.
There will be one quarterfinal match in Class 2A on Wednesday, Oct. 25 as No. 4 Keystone hosts No. 5 Moniteau at 6:30 p.m. with the winner to face the Lady Chucks.
