Delarosa-Rugg Leads Moniteau Boys Past Sheffield as Dessicino Dunks One-Handed; Jburg Rolls Past Brockway; Punxsy Win

WEST SUNBURY, Pa. – Twelve different Moniteau players scored in a 67-33 blowout win over visiting Sheffield.

Chason Delarosa-Rugg led the Warriors (12-10), who led 44-10 at halftime.

Landon Kelly added 12 points for Moniteau with David Dessicino having eight points and Andrew Zepeda seven. Dessicino had the highlight of the night when he split two Sheffield defenders and slammed home a one-handed dunk with 32 seconds left in the first half.

Dylan Hardwick paced Sheffield (6-16) with 11 points while Leihden Wotorson added 10 points.

                                      

JOHNSONBURG 66, BROCKWAY 24

JOHNSONBURG, Pa. – Isaiah Jackson scored 20 points to lead Johnsonburg past visiting Brockway, 66-24, in AML action.

Noah Stauffer added 10 points for the Rams (16-6 overall, 8-2 AML North)

Reese Yahner led Brockway (2-20, 0-10 AML South) with nine points.

PUNXSUTAWNEY 55, HOMER-CENTER 34

                          

HOMER CITY, Pa. – Noah Weaver put home 20 points to lead visiting Punxsutawney past Homer-Center, 55-34.

Jimmie Neese added 11 points for the Chucks (12-9) while Noah Kengersky hit a pair of 3-pointers and finished with eight tallies.

Angelo Alexander led Homer-Center (9-13) with eight points.
