WARREN, Pa. – Clearfield’s Colton Ryan and Grove City Cody Hamilton earned the TapNPay+ District 9 and District 10 wrestling performances of the week for Jan. 29-Feb. 3.
After picking up a win by tech fall against Bellefonte at 133, Ryan was integral in helping the Bison capture the District 9 Class 2A team title on Saturday.
In a 43-20 semifinal win over St. Marys, Ryan earned a 12-4 major decision. In the finals against Port Allegany, he picked up a win via a pin in the first period as the Bison beat Port Allegany 45-24 for the title.
Hamilton, meanwhile, picked up his 100th career win on Wednesday for the Eagles in a 52-24 D10 Class 2A first round win over Cambridge Springs.
Despite a team loss to Corry in the quarterfinals on Saturday, Hamilton was impressive in earning a 7-3 decision over Corry standout Mason Savitz.
