Clarion, Union City, Fairview Boys, OV Girls Claim Victories Powered by Hunter’s Station Golf Club

   

SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – Kam Kerle shot a 37 to earn medalist honors as Clarion (211) beat second place Moniteau (233) and North Clarion (233) by 22 strokes in Monday’s KSAC Mega Match at the Slippery Rock Golf Club.

Also shooting under 40 were A-C Valley/Union’s Joe Rapp, Clarion’s Devon Lauer and North Clarion’s Mason Shaftic each shot a 38, while Keystone’s Sean Karg shot a 39.

Also for Clarion, Lucas Mitrosky shot a 41 and Tanner Miller a 44.

Cranberry was fourth with 235 points, followed by Clarion-Limestone at 243, Keystone at 251, A-C Valley/Union at 253, Karns City at 271 and Forest Area at 291.

UNION CITY WINS REGION 3 MATCH

            

WATTSBURG, Pa. – Morgan Greico shot an 84 to lead Union City to a Region 3 mega match win at Scenic Heights.

Union City had 353 points and Saegertown, led by medalist Wyatt Zirkle’s 79, finished second with 361 points.

Also for Union City, Ian Kinney shot an 87, while Jon Grundy shot an 88 for Saegertown.

FAIRVIEW WINS REGION 5 MATCH

NORTH EAST, Pa. – Fairview’s Tegan Rucks shot a 78 to earn medalist honors and lead the Tigers to a Region 5 mega match win at Lake View Country Club.

                          

Anthony Laboda shot a 79 for the Tigers, who finished with 334 points.

Leyton Hassenplug shot a 79 for North East, which finished second in the team standings at 347. Colin Cunningham also shot an 85 for North East.

General McLane’s Braeden Means shot an 81 and Mercyhurst Prep’s Corey Morrison an 83.

OSWAYO VALLEY GIRLS TOP SMETHPORT, CAMERON COUNTY

BOLIVAR, N.Y. – Rylee Thompson shot a 51 to lead Oswayo Valley to a 39-15 win over Cameron County and 34-20 over Smethport.

Also for OV, Shayden Mesler shot a 59, Danielle Williams a 67, Rachel Rathbun a 68 and Layken Enty a 75.

For Smethport, Hope Peterson shot a 59, Mia Thomas a 68, Isabella Learn a 70 and Chloe Triplett a 90.

Elyse Humble shot a 71 for Cameron County, while Maggie Abriatis had a 77, Skilar Stevens an 80 and Emilia Copp an 88.
