Streich Scores Four Goals in Coudy Boys’ Victory; Graeca Also Has Four in DuBois’ Girls Triumph

BOYS

COUDERSPORT 6, NORTHERN POTTER 1

COUDERSPORT, Pa. – Northern Potter scored first, but it was Coudersport that came on top with a 6-1 victory.

Reilly Streich had a big game for the Falcons with four goals, while Micah Baston had a goal and four assists. Mason Roessner had a goal and two assists, while Drew VanWhy had an assist.

            

BROOKVILLE 4, ST. MARYS 3

ST. MARYS, Pa. – St. Marys scored three goals in the final 20 minutes to rally for a 4-3 win over Brookville.

Liam Brem’s goal in the final minute of the game proved to be the winner for the Dutchmen, after Luke Anderson tied the game with his second goal of the contest.

Maddox Harmon and Brad Fiscus scored in the first half for Brookville, with Steven Plyler’s scoring St. Marys’ third goal.

Anderson scored in the first half for St. Marys, while Lucasz Curtis had a second-half goal.

                          

Carter Dush had six saves in net for St. Marys.

PORT ALLEGANY 3, KANE 0

PORT ALLEGANY, Pa. – Alex Schott scored a pair of goals to lead Port Allegany to a 3-0 win over Kane.

Jarrod Funk had the other goal for the Gators, while Justin Dunn had two assists and Austin Hamilton one helper.

Aidan Clark had one save to earn the clean sheet for Port, while Chase Hultman had four saves for Kane.

MEADVILLE 5, FORT LEBOEUF 0

MEADVILLE, Pa. – Graham Shelhaas recorded a hat trick to lead Meadville to a season-opening 5-0 win over Fort LeBoeuf.

Shelhaas also added an assist, while Elijah Miller and Logan Shaw had one goal each.

FRANKLIN 0, GROVE CITY 0, 2 overtimes

GROVE CITY, Pa. – Franklin and Grove City battled to a scoreless draw.

                        

Grove City’s Jacob Stucchio and Franklin’s Reston Weismann both had shutouts in net.

HARBOR CREEK 7, GREENVILLE 0

HARBORCREEK, Pa. – Austin Armstrong had a hat trick to help Harbor Creek to a 7-0 win over Greenville.

Benjamin Wolfe had a goal and three assists, while Ayden Ratajczak also had a goal.

Ryan Humphreys had the clean sheet in net.

         

IROQUOIS 5, WEST MIDDLESEX 1

WEST MIDDLESEX, Pa. – Mava Mdboko recorded a hat trick to lead Iroquois to a 5-1 win over West Middlesex.

Giovanni Main had a pair of goals in the win as well for the Braves.

MCDOWELL 6, HICKORY 0

HERMITAGE, Pa. – Andrew Danch scored a pair of goals to help McDowell to a 6-0 win over Hickory.

Ahmed Agag had three assists and also found the back of the net for the Trojans.

NORTH EAST 5, SENECA 1

NORTH EAST, Pa. – Joel Morey had two goals to lead North East to a 5-1 win over Seneca.

Morey also had two assists in the win.

GIRLS

DUBOIS 7, PUNXSUTAWNEY 0

DUBOIS, Pa. – Emily Graeca scored four goals to help DuBois to a 7-0 win over Punxsutawney.

Maddie Sawtelle, Lexi Nissel and Kate Rhodes had one goal each for the Beavers.

Graeca also had three assists, while Nissel, Lauren Graeca, Dani Peace and Maddie Sawtelle had one helper each.

Jasmine Carney had the clean sheet in net.

GENERAL MCLANE 4, CONNEAUT 0

EDINBORO, Pa. – Sydney Rotko scored a pair of goals to help lead General McLane past Conneaut, 4-0.

Lena Bookhamer and Emma Walker also had goals for General McLane, while Bookhamer had three assists.

Bella Dibble had the shutout in net for GM.

GROVE CITY 7, FRANKLIN 0

GROVE CITY, Pa. – Victoria Badowski had a hat trick to lead Grove City to a 7-0 win over Franklin.

Sarah Gerber had two goals for the Lady Eagles, while Madeline Barr and Kassie Mushrush had one each.

SENECA 4, SLIPPERY ROCK 1

WATTSBURG, Pa. – Olivia Pikiewicz had two goals to help Seneca to a 4-1 win over Slippery Rock.

Pikiewicz also had an assist in the win.

ST. MARYS 6, BROOKVILLE 1

ST. MARYS, Pa. – St. Marys scored six unanswered goals in a 6-1 win over Brookville, with Lucy Hayes recording a hat trick.

Gianna Surra had two goals and Sophia Radkowski one goal for St. Marys.

Surra had two assists, while Maria and Sophia Radkowski had two each.

Ally Wilson scored off a feed from Kaida Yoder for Brookville.

FAIRVIEW 4, WARREN 0

WARREN, Pa. – Maddy Brosig scored a pair of goals to help lead Fairview to a 4-0 win over Warren.

Hannah Lindenberger had two goals and three assists as well for the Lady Tigers.

ELK COUNTY CATHOLIC 2, RIDGWAY 0

ST. MARYS, Pa. – Seanna VanAlstine and Leah Piccirillo scored a goal each to lead Elk County Catholic to a 2-0 win over Ridgway.

Sami Straub assisted on both of the goals.

Emily Mourer had six saves in recording the clean sheet in net.

PORT ALLEGANY 2, KANE 0

PORT ALLEGANY, Pa. – Sienna Lathrop and Kailey Bartlett both scored goals in Port Allegany’s 2-0 win over Kane.

Jen Baxter had three stops in net for Port Allegany, while Lexie Haight had 10 saves for Kane.
