
CLARION, Pa. – After a stellar season, Clarion-Limestone’s Hayden Siegel was named Keystone Shortway Athletic Conference Golf MVP.
In nine KSAC matches this season, Siegel averaged 36.33, almost four strokes better than No. 2 Jacob Felsing of Moniteau (40.00).
Siegel never shot above a 40 in any KSAC match and carded a blistering 30 in match No. 8 at the Foxburg Country Club.
Joining him on the first team were Felsing, Clarion’s Jackson Fox (41.56 average), C-L’s Hayden Callen (41.89), Colin Liederbach (Venango Catholic, 44.11) and Clarion’s Devon Lauer (44.56).
Callen qualified for the PIAA Class 2A state championships, where he shot an 84 to finish tied for 32nd.
Clarion won the 2020 league title.
