UNION CITY, Pa. – Cambridge Springs’ Parker Schmidt is the newest member of the 1,000-point club.
Schmidt, needing nine points coming into Friday’s Region 3 tilt against Union City, scored 15 points to reach the milestone in the Blue Devils’ 67-36 victory.
Owen Riley also had 15 points in the win for Cambridge Springs (14-5 overall, 8-2 Region 3), while Tyler Troutman added 10.
Trent Parkhurst had 14 points for Union City (3-17, 1-9).
With the win, Cambridge Springs kept pace with Eisenhower in second place in Region 3, one game behind Saegertown in the loss column. Cambridge Springs hosts Saegertown on Tuesday.
