Cambridge Springs Edges North East; Meadville Nabs Tight Win Over Franklin; CASH Holds Off Saegertown

CAMBRIDGE SPRINGS, Pa. – Owen Riley and Parker Schmidt combined for 43 points as Cambridge Springs edged North East, 60-59.

Schmidt scored seven of his 19 points in the fourth quarter, with Cambridge Springs outscoring North East 16-13 in the final eight minutes after trailing 46-44 going to the fourth.

Tristan Mazzadra and Tyler Troutman scored six points each for the Blue Devils.

Carter Crozier led North East with 14 points, with four different Grape Pickers scoring eight points each.

                                      

MEADVILLE 71, FRANKLIN 65

MEADVILLE, Pa. – With the game tied at 44 apiece after three quarters, Meadville outscored Franklin 27-21 over the final eight minutes to earn a 71-65 win.

Meadville led 31-24 at halftime, with Franklin going on a 20-13 run to tie the game going to the fourth.

Sam Burchard scored 11 of his 16 points in the fourth quarter for Meadville. Lucas Luteran pumped in 27 points for Meadville, eight of which came over the final eight minutes.

Tykie Butler was also in double figures for the Bulldogs with 19 points.

                          

Damon Curry led four Franklin players in double figures with 19 points. Cole Buckley scored eight of his 16 points in the fourth quarter for the Knights, while Jalen Wood had 17 points and Demarco Payne 11.

CONNEAUT 64, SAEGERTOWN 61

LINESVILLE, Pa. – Conneaut led 47-29 at halftime and held on for a 64-61 win over Saegertown.

Shakiir Jordan scored 22 of his game-high 25 points in the first half to stake CASH to the big halftime advantage.

Alex Brady was also in double figures for CASH with 13 points, while Tristan Shealtz added 10.

Cody Huson scored 14 of his 20 points in the second half to help key Saegertown’s rally. Jackson Scott had 18 points for the Panthers and Luke Young 14.

GIRARD 72, FORT LEBOEUF 34

WATERFORD, Pa. – Girard built a 47-14 halftime lead en route to a 72-34 win over Fort LeBoeuf, improving to 5-0 in the process.

Nate Edwards scored 16 of his 19 points in the first half for Girard, while Kenney Godoy scored 12 of his 16 in the first half.

Carson Papay had 10 points for Fort LeBoeuf.

                                   

SHARON 53, FAIRVIEW 36

FAIRVIEW, Pa. – Tino Piccirilli scored 17 points as Sharon improved to 7-0 with a 53-36 win over Fairview.

The Tigers rallied from a 20-19 halftime deficit, outscoring Fairview 19-8 in the third quarter and 15-9 in the fourth quarter en route to the win.

Derek Douglas scored 12 points and Lamont Austin added nine for Sharon.

Archie Murphey had 15 points for Fairview.

AUSTINTOWN FITCH (OHIO) 66, HICKORY 51

AUSTINTOWN, OHIO – Allen Hills and Carter Owens scored 17 points each to lead Austintown Fitch (Ohio) to a 66-51 win over Hickory.

Trailing 24-17 at halftime, Austintown Fitch went on a 34-14 run in the third quarter to take a 51-38 lead.

Rylan Dye had 11 points and four rebounds for Hickory, while Marco Miller had eight points.

FARRELL 85, WEST MIDDLESEX 14

FARRELL, Pa. – Danny Odem scored 18 of his 20 points in the first half as Farrell beat West MIddlesex, 85-14.

Dontaye Bell netted 18 points for the Steelers, while Juelz Johnson was also in double figures with 10.

Twelve different players scored for Farrell in the win.

CORRY 68, SENECA 27

CORRY, Pa. – Rylan Smith connected for 26 points as Corry topped Seneca, 68-27.

                                  

Markus Lambert was also in double figures for the Beavers with 18 points and Kamdyn Moon added eight tallies.

Nolan Seabury had 10 points for Seneca.

LAKEVIEW 63, KENNEDY CATHOLIC 35

HERMITAGE, Pa. – Owen Dye scored 17 points as Lakeview powered past Kennedy Catholic, 63-35.

Lucas Fagley had 12 points and Evan Reiser nine for Lakeview in the win.

Rayvion Wilbon-Venable had 15 points for Kennedy Catholic.

MERCER 81, COMMODORE PERRY 45

HADLEY, Pa. – Tristan McCracken and Cole Cunningham scored 16 points each as Mercer beat Commodore Perry, 81-45.

Dae Mattocks added 15 points for Mercer in the win.

Kyle Stringert had 20 points for Commodore Perry.

IROQUOIS 58, MAPLEWOOD 38

ERIE, Pa. – CJ Howard scored 15 points as Iroquois earned a 58-38 win over Maplewood.

Orlando Brown added 12 points for Iroquois in the win.

Jacob Woge had 11 points for Maplewood.
