WARREN, Pa. – Elk County Catholic is headed to the PIAA Class 1A volleyball title match after sweeping previous PIAA Class 1A champion Maplewood, 3-0 (25-16, 26-24, 28-26) in the semifinals at Warren High School Tuesday night.

It is the first PIAA title-match appearance for the Crusaders since 1986 and the third ever for ECC, which lost the title to Maplewood in 1985 and lost again in 1986.

            

ECC will face West Branch at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 18, at Cumberland Valley High School.
