PITTSBURGH – Behind double-digit kills from both Korrin Burns and Erica Selfridge, Clarion swept Bishop Canevin, 25-14, 25-15 and 25-14 to advance to the PIAA Class 1A volleyball state finals.
Burns and Selfridge each finished with 16 kills Bobcats to the finals.
Clarion will play Marian Catholic, a 3-2 winner over Sacred Heart Academy, for the state title. The finals will be at Cumberland Valley High School Saturday at 10:30 a.m.
