The Falcon Knights, who lost 72-0 to Central Clarion last week, trailed 7-6 at halftime but took the lead on a 6-yard Easton Wingard touchdown run in the third quarter. It was Wingard’s lone carry of the game.

Brockway moved the ball between the 20s and outgained Union/A-C Valley 308 yards to 254 but couldn’t find a way to score more than once, which happened on a 1-yard run by Blake Pisarcik in the first quarter that put the Rovers ahead, 7-0.

Union answered back in the second quarter when Brody Dittman hit Owen Bish with a 7-yard touchdown pass. The extra point was blocked leaving the Falcon Knights down one at the half.

Dittman threw for 216 yards on the night going 12 of 21 with the touchdown and two interceptions.

Dittman also had perhaps the biggest defensive play of the night when he intercepted a Brayden Fox pass at the 1-yard line about midway through the fourth quarter.

Dittman talked to Jared Bakaysa for the Generational Wealth Management Saturday Morning Lookback Show on the Cole Orthodontic Associated Postgame Interview.

Brockway had a first-and-10 at the Union/A-C Valley 11-yard line when Fox rolled to his left before throwing a ball toward the end zone that Dittman undercut for a diving interception at the 1-yard line.

The Falcon Knights then hit a big play when Dittman threw a long pass to Bish that moved the ball inside the Brockway 35-yard line.

Union/A-C Valley then moved the ball to the 10-yard line. But Isaac Crawford picked off a Dittman pass at the 5-yard line returning it out to the 15-yard line with under two minutes to play.

But Brockway could only move out to their 45-yard line before turning the ball over on downs allowing the Falcon Knights to kneel once to preserve the win.

Bish had four catches for 86 yards with Trey Fleming adding four grabs for 52 yards and Aidan Fox added two catches for 46 yards.

Bish also led the defensive effort for Union/A-C Valley with 11 tackles, including one for a loss. Luke Wilson, Colbin Elliott, and Max Gallagher each added nine tackles.

Jendy Cuello ran 21 times for 95 yards for Brockway while Brayden Fox went 18 of 29 passing for 157 yards with an interception. Pisarcik caught eight passes for 93 yards and ran four times for 10 yards.
