Soft: Obenrader Pitches, Hits Saegertown To Win; Conneaut Rallies Past Warren Powered by N. Washington Rodeo

SAEGERTOWN, Pa. – Mikalia Obenrader homered, drove in three runs and fired a 1-hit shutout as Saegertown beat Maplewood, 8-0.

Obenrader struck out 15 and walked two.

Alyssa Arblaster was also 2-for-4 with three RBIs and two runs scored for the Panthers.

Rhinn Post took the loss, allowing six earned runs in 5 ⅔ innings, scattering 10 hits and striking out 10.

CONNEAUT 7, WARREN 6

                  

LINESVILLE, Pa. – Coneaut rallied from a 6-1 deficit, beating Warren on Lainie Harrington’s 2-run single in the bottom of the seventh.

Conneaut scored four runs in the sixth inning and two more in the seventh, getting within one, 6-5, on Jaidyn Jordan’s grand slam in the sixth.

Jordan got the win, firing three shutout innings of relief on three hits, striking out one.

WEST MIDDLESEX 13, LAKEVIEW 2

STONEBORO, Pa. – Ava Gilmore was 3-for-5 with a home run, double and four RBIs as West Middlesex beat Lakeview, 13-2.

                          

Emily Dick was 4-for-5 for the Big Reds with two doubles and two RBIs as they pounded out 18 hits as a team.

Allison Sontheimer was 2-for-4 with an RBI for Lakeview.

SLIPPERY ROCK 11, FRANKLIN 5

FRANKLIN, Pa. – Lyla Runtas had four hits and two RBIs as Slippery Rock beat Franklin, 11-5.

Mia Sosa and Belle Miller had two RBIs each for Slippery Rock.

               

Brooke Balint also had two hits and an RBI for The Rock. Sosa got the complete game win, scattering 10 hits and striking out three.

Rilee Hanna was 2-for-4 with two doubles and three RBIs for Franklin. Jersey Swartz took the loss, allowing 15 hits in her seven innings and striking out seven.

MERCER 8, SHARPSVILLE 4

MERCER, Pa. – Kailyn Adams drove in three runs as Mercer beat Sharpsville, 8-4.

The Mustangs scored four run in the third inning, two in the fifth and two in the sixth.

Angelina and Phoebe Eakman had two hits and scored two runs each, while Emma Stoepfel was 3-for-4 with a double and two RBIs.

Angelina Eakman got the win, allowing four runs on seven hits, striking out 12.

Lily Palko was 3-for-4 with a home run and two RBIs for Sharpsville, while Izzy Candiotti also drove in two runs.

Jordan Brest allowed three earned runs in six innings on eight hits, striking out six.

            

JAMESTOWN 10, GROVE CITY 0, 5 innings

JAMESTOWN, Pa. – Brooke Wilkerson, Alayna Cadman, Miranda Biles and Katie King drove in two runs each as Jamestown beat Grove City, 10-0 in five innings.

Gianna Solderich had two doubles and scored three runs for Jamestown, while Miley Carter had three hits and scored two runs.

Biles allowed just one hit in her five innings, striking out 11.

CAMBRIDGE SPRINGS 9, EISENHOWER 1

RUSSELL, Pa. – Kayla Crawford drove in two runs and struck out 16 in the circle as Cambridge Springs topped Eisenhower, 9-1.

Crawford allowed one earned run on three hits with two walks to pick up the win. She also hit a 2-run single in the sixth.

Kylee Miller had two hits, including a double, scored twice and drove in three. Quinn Eaglen had two hits, including a double, scored once, and had an RBI. Morgan Dunton had a double among her four hits.

Payton Frank, Julia Gesing, and Kendra Danielson each had a hit for the Knights.

Samantha Childs took the loss allowing nine earned runs on 15 hits with two walks and three strikeouts in seven innings.
