MECHANICSBURG, Pa. – The PIAA announced quarterfinal sites for Friday and Saturday.
Saturday quarterfinal games include one District 9/District 10 crossover, three additional games involving District 9 teams, and one additional game involving a District 10 team.
The crossover game is a boys’ Class 2A game involving District 10 champion Erie First Christian vs. District 9 runner-up Otto-Eldred at 2 p.m., at PennWest Clarion’s Tippin Gym.
That’s the first game of a doubleheader at Tippin Gym with the Otto-Eldred girls taking on Berlin Brothersvalley at 3:30 p.m. in Class 1A.
There will also be a girls’ doubleheader at Sharon High School Saturday.
In Class 5A action, District 10 champion Cathedral Prep will face WPIAL champion South Fayette at 1 p.m. and in Class 4A play, District 10 champion Fairview will play WPIAL runner-up Blackhawk at 2:30 p.m.
In Class 3A boys’ action, District 10 champion Franklin will face District 6 champion Penn Cambria at 2:30 p.m. at Armstrong High School.
On Friday, there are three games involving District 10 teams.
In Class 2A girls, D10 champion Kennedy Catholic will face District 6 third-place finisher Bishop McCort at 6 p.m. at Norwin High School.
In Class 1A boys, District 10 champion Farrell will face WPIAL champion Imani Christian at 6 p.m. at North Allegheny.
In Class 5A boys, District 10 champion Cathedral Prep will face WPIAL champion Penn Hills at 7 p.m. at Sharon High School.
