SHARON, Pa. – Madelyn Vogan tossed a five-inning 1-hitter as Sharon beat Grove City, 10-0.
Vogan struck out 12 and walked three.
Claire Bodien homered and drove in a pair of runs for Sharon, while Vogan and Mya Bundrant also had two RBIs.
JAMESTOWN 5, HICKORY 2
HICKORY, Pa. – A 3-run double by Miranda Biles keyed a 5-run seventh inning as Jamestown rallied for a 5-2 win over Hickory.
Brooke Wilkerson also had an RBI for Jamestown. Biles got the win, allowing just three hits and one earned run, walking one and striking out 13.
Olivia Schneider had Hickory’s lone RBI.
Lydia Hallas took the loss, allowing five runs in seven innings on five hits, walking two and striking out seven.
MOHAWK 7, SHARPSVILLE 2
NEW CASTLE, Pa. – Addy Moskal and Liv Hare drove in two runs each as Mohawk powered past Sharpsville, 7-2.
Mohawk led 3-2 after five innings, breaking it open with four runs in the sixth.
Raegan Magno fired a 3-hitter to get the win, striking out seven and walking three.
Lily Palko and Izzy Candiotti hit solo home runs for Sharpsville.
Jordan Brest took the loss, allowing seven runs on nine hits, walking four and striking out one.
