Scenic Rivers YMCA Basketball All-Star Games powered by the YDL Sports Network to be Played Sunday at Clarion Co. YMCA

CLARION, Pa. – The fourth annual Scenic Rivers YMCA girls’ and boys’basketball All-Star Games powered by the YDL Sports Network are scheduled for Sunday, April 7, at the Clarion County YMCA.

The girls’ game is at 2 p.m. followed by the boys’ game at 3:45 p.m.

Admission is $8 for the day. A concession stand will be available. Tickets are available at the door, cash only.

Both games will be broadcast on the YDL Sports Network with Brian Hagberg, Michael Dawson, and Al Modrzejewski.

The girls game will feature Team Snelick against Team Kelly, while the boys’ game pits Team Green vs. Team Rugg as they were picked by St. Marys’ Jayssa Snelick, Moniteau’s Catherine Kelly, DuBois Central Catholic’s Andrew Green, and Moniteau Chason Delarossa-Rugg.

                                      

Team Snelick consists of Snelick, Clarion’s Taylor Alston, Punxsutawney’s Danielle Grriebel, Clearfield’s Cayleigh Walker, Kane’s Maya Smith, Grove City’s Piper Como, Port Allegany’s Kayleigha Dowell, Redbank Valley’s Izzy Bond, and Ridgway’s Jenna Kasmierski. St. Marys’ Maura Caskey is on the team but is unable to play because of an injury. The squad is coached by Grove City’s Dennis Ranker and Port Allegany’s Jamie Evens.

Team Kelly consists of Kelly, Maplewood’s Savannah O’Hara, ECC’s Lucy Klawuhn, Sami Straub, and Sydney Alexander, Brookville’s Eden Wonderling, DuBois Central Catholic’s Kayley Risser, North Clarion’s Lily Homan, and Smethport’s Elizabeth Hungiville. ECC’s Emily Mourer is on the team but unable to play. The team is coached by ECC’s Ken Pistner and North Clarion’s Skip Homan.

Team Green consists of Green, ECC’s Jordan Wasko and Colby Nussbaum, Otto-Eldred’s Brax Caldwell, Franklin’s Jalen Wood, Eisenhower’s Kyler Black, Brookville’s Jack Pete, Cambridge Springs’ Parker Schmidt, Coudersport’s Reilly Streich, Clarion-Limestone’s Jack Callen, and DuBois’ Tyson Kennis. The team is coached by Camrbidge Springs’ Becky Leandro and Brookville’s Matt Reitz.

Team Rugg consists of Rugg, Titusville’s Isiah Colon, Union’s Dawson Camper, Clarion’s Dawson Smail and Devon Lauer, Karns City’s Taite Beighley, Cranberry’s Ethan Merryman, Eisenhower’s Kris Bunk, Cameron County’s Josh Smith, C-L’s Jack Craig, and A-C Valley’s Jay Clover. The team is coached by C-L’s Patrick Craig and Moniteau’s Mike Jewart.

The teams will be treated to a pizza party after the game complimentary of Pizza Hut with six locations in District 9 and District 10 including in Grove City, Clarion, Brookville, St. Marys, DuBois, and Clearfield. As well as locations in Philipsburg, State College, Bellefonte, and Lock Haven.
