WARREN, Pa. – Owen Clouse helped lead Redbank Valley to its first District 9 boys’ soccer title since 2001, surpassing 100 career goals on his way to earning the 2023 YDL Sports Network/D9and10Sports District 9 girls’ soccer Player of the Year powerd by TapNPay+.
He his joined by his coach, Ty Scott, who nabbed Coach of the Year honors, as well as Rookie of the Year Martin Ormeno of Clarion-Limestone.
Clouse put together a truly special season for the Bulldogs, notching 44 goals to go along with 14 assists.
Scott, meanwhile, guided the Bulldogs to their first D9 title since 2001, defeating perennial power Karns City to do so.
The freshman Ormeno cracked a talented C-L lineup as a freshman, notching six goals and four assists.
In addition to the major award winners, YDL Sports Network first- and second-team All-District 9 teams were also named.
