Punxsutawney’s Miller, Hickory’s Ryhal Claim PIAA Girls Wrestling Titles Powered by Luton’s Plumbing, Heating and A/C

HERSHEY – Punxsutawney’s Jael Miller and Hickory’s Avry Ryhal made history on Saturday.

                        

Miller and Ryhal captured individual state titles at the first-ever PIAA girls wrestling championships.

Miller pinned Bensalem’s Maya Krieger in 3:02 to earn the title at 170.

Ryhal, meanwhile, edged Leyna Rumpler of North Allegheny, 1-0 at 155.

Greenville’s Madilyn Enterline, meanwhile, finished second, dropping a championship bout to Julia Horger of Conwell-Egan, 9-3 at 106.

                              

Also earning medals were Saegertown’s Kacie Mook (fourth at 130), Greenville’s Kelly Enterline (fifth at 124) and Saegertown’s Leah Sample (eighth at 118).
