MECHANICSBURG, Pa. – The PIAA has released semifinal basketball sites and times, with three District 9 and 10 teams playing for a berth in the state finals.
In Class 2A boys, Otto-Eldred will square off with WPIAL champion Aliquippa on Tuesday at 6 p.m. at PennWest Clarion’s Tippin Gym. The winner will play the winner of the Holy Cross/Lancaster Mennonite game in the state finals on Friday at 2 p.m.
In Class 5A boys, Cathedral Prep takes on District 3 champion Exeter on Monday at 5:30 at Altoona High School. The winner will face the Archbishop Ryan/Imhotep Charter winner on Friday at 8 p.m.
In Class 2A girls, District 10 champion Kennedy Catholic takes on WPIAL fifth-place finisher Greensburg Central Catholic at North Allegheny High School at 6 p.m. The winner will face the Montrose/HomerCenter winner on Thursday at 12 p.m.
