GROVE CITY, Pa. — A balanced offensive attack and a pair of fourth quarter takeaways by the Wolverine defense helped lift the Grove City College football team to a 31-24 Homecoming victory Saturday afternoon over previously-undefeated Washington & Jefferson (4-1, 4-1 PAC) before an overflow crowd at Robert E. Thorn Field.
Saturday’s win vaults Grove City (5-0, 5-0 PAC) into sole possession of first place in the conference.

GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel Tomcats defeated the Waynesburg Yellow Jackets 15-14 in a Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) game Saturday during Homecoming 2023 at Alumni Stadium.
Trailing 14-9 in the fourth quarter, freshman quarterback Joseph Fell (Warren, Ohio/Champion) engineered a 19-play, 80-yard drive that consumed nearly nine minutes of the game clock and ended with a 6-yard touchdown run by Fell that would eventually count as the game-winning score.

MEADVILLE, Pa. — Allegheny College football put an early scare into No. 24 Carnegie Mellon University, but the Tartans earned a 19-3 Presidents’ Athletic Conference victory over the Gators in front of 4,834 fans at Frank B. Fuhrer Field on Saturday.
Playing under the lights as part of Allegheny’s Blue and Gold Weekend, the Gators (2-3, 2-3 PAC) were looking to upset the Tartans (4-1, 4-1 PAC) for the second week in a row.
